Simple but effective; great location

Basic, but very good value considering the location (which is perfect for the city centre and Rossio station) and a fairly generously sized room. Friendly service and a 24-hour reception desk, which is a bonus for guest-house style accommodation. Beds were comfortable, and everything in the bathroom clean and functional. The access is via a set of pretty steep stairs, and some of the facilities are a bit dated (the TV and furniture had clearly seen a few years), but those are minor issues for me, and so I'd happily stay here again.

Ovviamente sono considerazioni personali. Corridoi puzzavano, stanza con solo una presa, tv con un solo canale, panni stesi di fronte alla finestra, su di un terrazzino, dove passavano le inservienti

Il faut chercher l'hôtel MODELO au début de la rue L'immeuble est moyen, les chambres propres mais les volets ne ferment pas entièrement, très vétuste Le personnel est très agréable

Die Lage des Hotels war super aber das Zimmer war schrecklich: voller Schimmel, es war laut, das Personal war total unfreundlich, Nachts gehen einfach Lampen im Zimmer an, die Betten sind eine Qual und das Zimmer war nicht dicht. Wenn es Regnet steht das halbe Zimmer unter Wasser und alles ist nass/feucht.

Hotel direkt im Zentrum. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu erkunden. Zimmer zweckmässig eingerichtet. Zum schlafen vollkommen Ok allerdings sehr hellhörig.

Nice location

It's uncomfortable in winter and cold days as there was no heating in room. As a result water vapours collects inside window causing dampness. Rooms not recommended during rains as well due to dampness. Television set could show around 4 channels only, some were not clear. Most staff are very helpful and friendly. Cleaning services is one of the best I ever saw. Toilets, bathrooms and room always maintained clean but recommend room key to be kept at the desk before leaving hotel in mornings. Location is very close to restaurants, churches, rossio square, taxi, and most places at walking distance or close to transport links. No breakfast provided in hotel but lot of cafes around.

The front lady was super nice when I checked in. I arrived early, so I asked to leave my suitecase. She showed me a room if that was good, and I said ok. The room was before cleaning, but she let me put my suitecase in the room and that helped me a lot! The location is super convenient. it's little bit noisy area but it's worth it for the price.

Midden in het bruisende,oude hart van Lisboa. Is goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. Een super wandeling als je midden door de diverse wijken en buurten wandeld naar het oude hart. Te beginnen met een ginja en vriendelijk door engels sprekende damens te worden ontvangen. Leuke cafeetjes en artisten te ontdekken om na een goede nachtrust en warme doche tijdens het krieken van de dag super te ontbijt met fresh juice and espresso voor het hotel.

Je ne pensais pas que c etait aussi dur de revenir dans une pension aussi negligee , car il n y a pas de gros effort a faire .annee 1950 Rien ne m a plu et tres bruyant on a l iptession de dormir dans la chambre avec les voisins .je n ai pas dormi .bref je prefere payer plus cher ! 40euros c est bien mais 60 c est tres cher our un endroit pareil .lugubre !!

Molto sympatico

Pensao Modelo ligt aan één van de drukste Rua's met eetgelegenheiden op de grens van de wijken Baixa en Sant'Ana en is daarom erg levendig en rumoerig. Maar op een prettige manier dan wel. Het Hotelpersoneel is 24/7 beschikbaar en aanwezig en is uitermate vriendelijk, bereidwillig en dienstbaar! Onze handbagage een dag lang beheerd achterlaten is geen probleem en zelfs tot twee keer gebruik maken van een speciaal daarvoor beschikbare toilet- en douche-ruimte kan gewoon! Verwacht voor de prijs geen chichi want de voorzieningen zijn basaal maar als basis om Lissabon hetzij te voet of met OV te ontdekken een top-locatie! Gewoon een goed bed, een lekkere douche en geen poespas. Een aanrader!

Un point positif l'emplacement en plein centre, points négatifs le reste à part la propreté qui est correcte et le personnel sympa. Sous les toits en plein ouest , il faisait une chaleur atroce à chaque fois que nous entrions dans la chambre en fin de journée , pas de clim. juste un ventilateur qui brassait l'air chaud. Beaucoup de matériel en fin de vie voir cassé, fils de téléphone dénudés , bref un hôtel d'un autre âge. Pas de petit déjeuner mais avec le nombre de bars et de pâtisseries dans la rue ou les rues voisines, ceci ne nous a pas dérangé. Je pense que si nous retournons à Lisbonne, ça ne sera pas dans ce lieu que nous séjournerons. Pour petit budget uniquement et personnes qui comme nous, ne restent pas trop à l'hôtel, mais il y a des limites ....

Personnel accueillant mais pas de climatisation

Le personnel parle le français et est accueillant. L'hôtel est bien situé par rapport aux transports en commun ainsi qu'aux points d'intérêt mais nous avons bénéficié d'une chambre sans fenêtre où la seule climatisation proposée était un ventilateur qui, il faut le dire, ne servait à rien. Dormir par 30 degrés à l'intérieur de la chambre, s'avère difficile!
