Our second stay in 3 weeks to Lisbon, it was great to explore a different district. We had some great meals on the sidewalk cafes. It was so wonderful to be able to eat outside in October. Be aware their are lots of hills in this area. Apartment was on the 4th floor & sadly the elevator was out of order. Beds were comfortable, and the apartment was a nice size for 4 adults. No light in the entrance when walking in doors to the apartment we needed to use our flashlights. As international travels check in was very late and the office did not open until 10a, so we needed to walk around town for 4hrs with our luggage, a big disadvantage, but the office staff very courteous and helpful when we had an injury and lost luggage! Neighborhood is loud, you are very close to a rowdy bar, homeless person was in residence across from the apartment every morning during our stay, with that being said, neighborhood felt safe.
