Charming and tastefully decorated, this lovely 60m2 two-bedroom apartment is close to various top attractions in Lisbon! The property is located on the first floor and is accessible by stairs. The living room features a comfortable sofa and a wide-screen TV to watch all your favourite shows. There's also a private balcony to enjoy the fresh air and add a touch of outdoor relaxation to your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutleries that you'll need to cook delicious meals, such as a stove, an oven, a microwave and a dining table where you can gather for a delicious meal. For added convenience, the property has a dishwasher to make post-meal cleanup a breeze and a washing machine, a drying rack and ironing equipment to meet your laundry needs. The first bedroom has a queen bed, and the second has two single beds and a desk, providing a comfortable workspace for those who need to work or study during their stay. All bedrooms are fitted with complimentary hotel-quality linens and multiple storage spaces. Santa Maria Maior is one of the most historic and vibrant parishes in Lisbon, encompassing several renowned neighbourhoods such as Baixa, Alfama, and Mouraria. Each area offers a unique blend of history, culture, and modern amenities. The Baixa, or downtown area, is the heart of Lisbon. Reconstructed after the devastating 1755 earthquake, it features a grid layout and Pombaline architecture. Key attractions include the Rua Augusta Arch, Praça do Comércio, and Rossio Square. Alfama is Lisbon's oldest district, known for its narrow, winding streets and traditional Fado music. The neighbourhood offers stunning views from the Miradouro de Santa Luzia and São Jorge Castle. The Lisbon Cathedral, also known as Sé de Lisboa, is another prominent landmark in this area. Mouraria, once a Moorish quarter, is a melting pot of cultures and traditions. It is famous for its vibrant street art and multicultural atmosphere and is the birthplace of Fado singer Amália Rodrigues. Santa Maria Maior boasts numerous museums, including the Fado Museum and the Roman Theater Museum. Traditional Fado houses and cultural centres provide a glimpse into Lisbon's rich artistic heritage. The parish is well-served by public transportation, including metro stations, trams, and buses, making it easy to explore other parts of the city. The area is dotted with traditional Portuguese restaurants, modern eateries, and charming cafes. Visitors can enjoy local specialities like pastéis de nata, bacalhau dishes, and fresh seafood. Throughout the year, Santa Maria Maior hosts various cultural and religious festivals, with the June Festas de Lisboa being particularly notable. These festivities feature parades, music, and street decorations, celebrating the city's patron saints. The property is easily accessible by public transport and car. The nearest subway station, Martim Moniz, is just a 5-minute walk. Humberto Delgado Airport is a 19-minute drive from the property. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. Bathroom had a strange smell and there were unknown stains around the shower and bathroom doors. Kitchen was fairly well equipped but lacked attention to detail (coffee machine but no supplied coffee pods). Shower was leaking and no toilet paper holder but management fixed the issue shortly after contacting them. The bedrooms are fine but the bathroom has a pretty dirty feeling. No capsules for coffee, tablets for wash disher provided (only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a family for a week).
