We didn’t spent that much time inside the property since we were visiting and enjoying our time outside but António & Fabíola’s apartment is a little gem. The view on the castle at night and the proximity to the 28 Tram is priceless. The mattress in the bedroom is one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a vacation rental. Usually they’re too hard but this one was perfect. Carlota was easy to contact and was wonderful. She took the time to show us how everything works and we really liked her recommendations. The neighborhood is filled with the Indian and Asian/fusion restaurants and since it’s pretty lively, it can be a bit loud at night so if you like to sleep with the windows open to enjoy the wind/fresh air, take some earplugs with you. For information, the private parking is not included in the price and will cost you 10€ per night which is less expensive than what you’d pay in a public/less secure parking, so definitely worth it if you have a car. ##### Miguel L. There is a Continente supermarket 3 mins away. Kitchen is very nicely equipped. They also have a washer (no drier). However, keep in mind there is no AC, and when the temperature reaches 33 degrees is quite uncomfortable. The 2 fans for the entire apartment don't make much difference. Opening the windows at night allowed for some cooling, after 2PM, but the noise is high, because of the busy street. You need ear plugs. The area is close to main attractions in Lisboa but the square it is on is noisy throughout the night, with the need to keep the windows open due to no airconditionning this proves to be a problem.
