It was all about location. We were in the heart of the old town. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was clean, safe and convenient. Rooms were nicely decorated. I highly recommend this hotel.

Obrigada Browns

We have stayed at 3 of the Browns Hotels, and all of them have been wonderful stays. Our fav of the 3 was Browns Boutique Hotel, followed by Browns Downtown and then Brown's central. All are great, and all have a different vibe. All are located in a great location too. My suggestion it to upgrade one level from the standard. The Breakfast is great! Good value! The staff at all 3 were very helpful. Safe, clean, great service, and a wonderful value too. Stay at the Browns - we look forward to staying at the Avenues next; it is situated on the park ave of Portugal. Obrigada Browns

The room we had was incredibly small. Two of us traveled and even with just our two carry-on bags (one bag each) it was a challenge to move around the room. The bathroom was also incredibly small. We've traveled to more than 20 countries and nearly 100 cities and this, by far, was the smallest hotel room we've ever had which made it quite uncomfortable to relax.

My room was a jammed poorly designed set up. I had to squeeze around the corner of my bed to get to my clothes by a window in the back of the room. Just really awkward

Property and staff were good. There is a weird thing with the air conditioning where you need to place the controls in the correct place if not it turns on and off with a loud band. We figured this out BUT at 3 o'clock in the morning our neighbor did not and it stated banging. When we complained to the the front desk and asked him to contact the other room to correct the situation, he said "no, because they are probably sleeping ". at least they were able to sleep. We told the front desk the next morning but they did not seem very concerned. Also, the water in the shower changes from hot to cold often with no place to move out of the way when it happens. Other then one sleepless night it is a good hotel.

The staff at the hotel desk were great. However, the staff at the Breakfast Buffet were awful. We had an experence where we asked for one cup of decaf coffee and 30 minutes later; and after flagging down to additional staff personnel we were told the machine was broken -- but, then we received a cup of coffee 5 minutes after that. On another day, I arrived to a buffet that was out of scrambled eggs (the only cooked eggs offered other than hard boiled) - I immediately informed the staff and then wait another half hour for more eggs to arrive. However, during that half hour I was told twice that the kitchen staff was making the eggs. However, there is a window into the kitchen and I could see that they did not start cooking the eggs for 20 minutes after I requested them. To further emphasize the staff's lack of concern -- this was the week of WebSummit and while I waited for eggs - over 10 other people looked into the warmer for eggs and commented on the fact that there were none. But, none of the request seemed to matter to the staff - they just talked amongst themselves while the customers sat and waited. By the time the eggs finally arrived half of the guests that asked for them had left the breakfast area.

Voltaria pela localização e conforto

Boa estadia , localização muito boa, quarto confortável, roupa de cama e banho boa, design de interior interessante, caprichoso, tablet, e Apple na UH, destaco a iluminação profissional . Voltaria e recomendo . Recepção não muito afetuosa, calorosa ou sequer gentil, mas ok. Ruim: nada no frigobar!

Hice mi reservacion a las 5 de la tarde, se supone que a esa hora ya tienen las habitaciones listas para entregar llegue al hotel y me dijeron que no estaba lista la habitación que me esperará un momento me dieron un coctel de bienvenida por el mal rato pero al final de cuentas nos entregaron la habitación hasta las 9, la muchacha que nos atendio muy amable nos dijo que por el mal rato y la espera nos iban a dar el desayuno incluido totalmente gratis, al siguiente día nos despertamos y es cambio de turno los que estaban en el lobby en ese momento nos dijeron que no que no teniamos desayuno incluido y que no fue problema de ellos lo de la habitacion que eso paso por nosotros hacer la reservacion tarde
