The location was close enough to the restaurants and nite life and at the same time far enough from the noise. Entry to and from the apartment was very simple. The room was adequately sized and very clean. The bathroom was nice and quite spacious. We are walkers and we found the location to be perfect for anywhere we wanted to go. Filipa was a great hostess and rapidly responsive any time that I contacted her. My only tiny negative comment is that it was not always so fast to get into the room with the door codes. The. I LOVED being close to the Alfama district. So many genuine shops owned by Portuguese locals with goods created by Portuguese creatives. Perfect area to get to know the culture and meet incredible people. It was very noisy the night I was there but I don’t get the impression that was normal.
