Located at the south end of Lincoln City in the Sandstone Point complex, a three-block walk will bring you to the beach, and a number of shops and restaurants are a short drive away.

This listing features two separate condos with their own spaces and private entrances - the main and lower floors of this three-story building. Each floor can also be rented individually, or all together to sleep a total of 40 guests (please contact Vacasa for more details about these other options).

The homes have a light and welcoming atmosphere, with polished wood floors and aesthetic decor. Each floor offers an open living, kitchen, and dining area. Grab a seat on a variety of furniture in front of the gas fireplace and turn on the flatscreen TV for entertainment (cable and WiFi included).

Eight guests will fit around each dining table, and you might spread out on the furniture or one of the balconies to enjoy the ocean view from the patio furniture. A well equipped kitchen on either floor provides all you need to create a delicious feast with extras like a blender, mixer, waffle iron, coffeemaker, and a dishwasher.

With five bedrooms on the main floor and four on the lower, this home has a total of nine bedrooms and five full baths to accommodate up to 26 guests. There are four king beds, four queen beds, six twin beds (arranged as bunks), and two sofabeds. Bring your dogs along for the fun, too, just note a nightly pet fee.

Though it is two stories, this home may be a good option for those with limited mobility as the main floor has everything you need with no steps. Each floor also has a private washer/dryer for freshening laundry.

This home is perfect for a family reunion, large group gathering, or a business retreat - head down to the sand to play games with the whole group, like capture the flag or touch football. You might prefer to spend time on Devils Lake kayaking, fishing, or stand-up paddleboarding, or go for a horseback ride on the beach and trails. A short drive into town will afford you a number of shopping and dining options.

A budget accommodation with a great view

I had some serious inconvenience checking in and getting access to the property. I was not sent an entry code ahead of time and was referred to an on-site office that was closed Friday to Monday. Our stay was Friday to Sunday, so nobody was on site to let us in. We were given three invalid codes and it took over an hour past check in time to finally get inside. Meanwhile we waited in the lot. In the rain. After a 2 hour drive. With kids. Once we got in, had a lovely weekend. The place has clearly seen some hard use and there are cheap repairs to breaks, dents, and scratches evident all over the house. The finishes are all builder grade remodel type stuff. But the beds and rooms were as advertised, the linens were clean, and the housekeeping staff made everything as tidy as possible for our stay. Plenty of room for everyone, nice to have access to two kitchens and fridges, and the ocean view was unbeatable. Not a luxurious house by any means but if you are just looking for a utilitarian way to bring a big extended family to the beach it does the trick.

Friends gathering

We had a large group and this place held us all. However the kitchens could be more stocked and the space could have been cleaner. There was sand on stairs, water marks on walls in bathroom, mold in bathrooms, some kitchen pots and pans not clean and the balcony was covered in slime. The space was good but definitely could have been cleaner. Overall it was still a good stay here.

Cleanliness lacking

We enjoyed our stay because we had a wonderful group that we traveled with… however, the house was not very clean and lacked the supplies to keep it clean throughout our stay. We did have a friendly exchange with the manager, he was responsive and attempted to fix the broken TV that did not work the whole time we were there and he brought a few dishwasher pods. The following items left the home unacceptable: • almost every bed had dirty sheets with sand in them (before we even got in the beds) • dishwasher did not work well and all of the “clean” dishes in the cupboards had food stuck to them • there was no laundry soap to wash towels • there was not enough dish soap to run dishwashers • there was not enough toilet paper, garbage bags, silverware or towels for 18 people (even though the house says it sleeps more) • dining room chairs are covered in dirt and stains • even though pictures show a bbq, there is not one This house is expensive to rent for the quality and we will not be back.

We loved it! Walking distance to the beach, great view, great tide pools! Had some issues where staff basically told us to deal with it ourselves, but we didn't let that interfere with our weekend.

Minor issues but overall great!

The first night we had a leak through the light fixture in the bedroom. The staff came right away to check it out but then just brought us towels to clean it up ourselves and turned the water off upstairs to stop more leaking. The blinds in the bedroom don't go all the way down in the bedroom so when your in bed and anyone is on the deck you have no privacy...awkward. The lights outside stay on all night for each unit so it's a light that effects your room. Limited baking pans and no pot holders made it difficult to cook. It was clean and nice other than those issues.

Renovation isn't finished ...

I gave this property 3 stars, but that rating would go up to 4 if the owner/manager addresses the problems we encountered. First the pros: great location with beach access just down the hill; good layout for people with limited mobility (kitchen, main bedrooms, bathrooms and living area are all on the entry level, and a deck with ocean views). Now the cons: There were no hooks or closet bars for hanging clothes in any of the bedrooms; there were no drawers or shelf space to store clothes and luggage. The flooring throughout the lower and main floors is so slippery that it is a hazard to people and pets. My feet were wet when entering from outside, and I slid over a foot with my first step onto the floor. Wearing wool socks made it almost like a skating rink. My elderly dog had trouble staying on her feet, particularly in the morning when she is stiff. There should at least be some mats at the entrances and at the bottom of the stairs to protect guests from slipping. There were no hot pads in either kitchen! The seats on some of the basement chairs were not attached to the chair. My 95-year-old mother discovered this particular problem. Some of the internal doors drag on the floor and couldn't be opened all the way. One of the basement bedrooms without a window didn't have a night stand or bedside lamp. It was very dark and gloomy in there ... day and night. (I also wonder whether there is adequate egress from that bedroom. It seemed more like they stuck some beds into a storage room.) The towel bar in one of the basement bathrooms was laying on the floor, and there was no place to hang the towels. There were insufficient towel bars and hooks in most of the bathrooms. There was no place to store recyclables, and there was no guidance provided on where the dumpster was located. The fire extinguishers had last been renewed in 2011. The door latches were of poor quality. The latch for the door out to the deck broke during our stay, and we had to call the office to repair it. Vacasa quickly responded with a repair guy but, according to him, this was a new door knob mechanism. The lock on one of the basement bathrooms also didn't work. This place worked fairly well for my group of 11 family members (although the bedrooms were quite different in amenities). But I would look for some improvements before renting it again ....
