"The apartment was clean and near the beach as advertised, nicely updated, however the Wi-Fi was very weak and sometimes useless, there is a busy street about 3 meters from the building that was not disclosed in the advertisement, so it is not a quiet location. Parking is limited and you will not be able to park next to the building, in the evening we returned to find no parking nearby…overall we would not recommend the apartment unless there is nothing else near by. Also we were out of power one...

"We've had a lovely stay here. The property was clean and well equipped, with lovely views. For anyone reading this and thinking about booking - the location is rural, you will need a car to get anywhere. Opposite the property there are two other houses, these had dogs that live outside and they bark all the time, including through the night, and therefore disrupted everyone's sleep.Overall this was a great base for exploring this region, we are a family of five and we had plenty of room. "Beautiful historical Parador in the most peaceful nature filled grounds! Super helpful and friendly staff, comfortable, spacious with a view rooms! Within walking distance to the river as well! Highly recommend! Will return, muchas gracias!"

"Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña."

"Booked a basic room, which is ok for our night stop over. Always clean and very comfortable, with great views over the estuary. We have used this hotel twice a year for several years with no complaints. On our last trip we found slight damp in the corners of the wall behind the large window curtains. We were immediately upgraded to a better room. No fuss. No blame. ( first time ever we have found a fault). All the staff (including cleaners) have always been Polite. Friendly and very professional every time we have stayed at the hotel. Evening meals are well prepared and very tasty. Well presented and hot. Our waiter was fantastic. Chatty and could not do enough to make our meal time memorable. Breakfast buffet is very well presented, both for continental style meals and English breakfast and there is lots of it. We have the same staff member (when we visit twice a year), who puts in a lot of effort to make sure we enjoy our meals there. What is also good is that the hotel is on the estuary with great views, and is literally a very easy 5 minutes drive to the main port. well worth a visit."

"The hotel is situated right next to the beach, so there are amazing views. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and if you want a relaxing beach holiday, this is for you. Also, a really good bar nearby bar close by, suitable for all ages."
