Please note: There is a fenced pond within the garden.. This cosy one-bedroom converted barn has comfort at the forefront, boasting gorgeous period features and is only a stone’s throw away from the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The perfect bolthole for keen walkers. The quiet village of Bellerby in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales is just 2 miles away from Leyburn, which boasts unique local shops, traditional pubs and a celebrated weekly market on Fridays. Walk back in time to discover the legend of where Mary Queen of Scots dropped her shawl when escaping from Bolton Castle along Leyburn Shawl (2.5 miles), stretching just under 2 miles and benefiting from spectacular views of the rolling Wensleydale hills. Discover Constable Burton Hall, a beautiful Grade I-listed Georgian Palladian villa surrounded by formal and woodland gardens, a mere 6 miles away. Further afield, weave your way through the unique labyrinth of tunnels and chambers within a 4-acre garden at The Forbidden Corner which is 7 miles away.  
  
Up the shingle driveway, you’re met with the beautiful traditional stoned barn exterior. The traditional aesthetic is carried from the outside in, through the entrance hall, and to the cosy lounge with the original exposed beam ceiling and striking exposed brick fireplace housing a wood burner. The sofa can also double as a bed if required. The French doors lead you into the conservatory where you can enjoy views into the garden and soak up some sun, while back through the barn you’ll find a dining room with another exposed brick fireplace and wood burner, and more exposed beams lining the ceiling.  
  
The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything to cater and benefits from another dining table and set of French doors out onto the garden. A freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a building outside the property. A modern shower room and another family bathroom with a shower over the bath can be found on this level. Upstairs houses a king-size bedroom with en-suite toilet and a stunning Juliet balcony with views of the garden and surrounding rolling countryside. This gorgeous traditional English lawned garden with plenty of mature foliage and stunning flowers is the perfect place for al fresco dining long into the evening. The stone wall surrounding the garden keeps the space private and enclosed.
