Convenient to many distillaries which makes it great to come back to after a day of touring. The pool table is a nice touch as it gives you something to do for a bit. Kitchen and bedrooms were clean. If you have a small group like I did (4 people) it is a great place to stay if you want to see the older distillaries in the country. Would stay again if ever going back down. ##### David S. The house was great and right in the heart of everything. It was ideal for trips to Lexington, Bardstown, Frankfort, etc. The pool table was a bonus as it gave some entertainment during heavy storms. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed our stay. If I come back this way, I'd consider staying here again as I don't have anything bad to say about it. ##### Daniel V. We attended the Kentucky Derby this year and wanted somewhere we could come back to that was out of the chaos of Louisville. This was the perfect place. It’s very quiet and tucked nicely into a corner where there are no interruptions. It was of the best night sleeps we’ve had!! You are walking distance to restaurants and distilleries and a short drive into anything you could possibly want between Lexington and Louisville. Beautiful property, quiet location, with access to everything we were looking to do! Turner was quick to respond to any questions we had, and make some nice suggestions for us to try out. The Stave was a short walking distance, with a huge bourbon selection and great meal (don't skimp on dessert that was pretty good too!), and the Prodigy Vineyards had a nice choice of wines with a very laidback friendly feel. The home was filled with just about everything we needed (and then some), and the extra propane tank fill for our evening fires was appreciated. Very spacious for 4 adults traveling together. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies, and just the right amount of necessity items! Highly recommend this host and property. We will be back and will look to say at this property again!
