I’d like to plan a girls trip with my daughters and grandchildren! We had a Pastor with us from Zimbabwe and he was blown away… He’s enjoying seeing the countryside of America! It was great for one night to break up a long 2 day drive home. The beds were super comfortable, and the entire home is very well decorated and finished. However, it is clearly in need of some deep cleaning and repair in places. The upstairs bathroom a/c did not work, nor did the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms, and the kitchen drawers and cupboards could use some repair and a good cleaning. The ice maker in the kitchen is full of black mold, and should just be removed. Bring a bag of ice for your drinks. This was such a beautiful old home! Each of the bedrooms were so spacious and decorated tastefully. We were so impressed with all of the extras in the kitchen; taking into consideration that some of these extras are likely not always available as they are used. We had spices, cooking spray, excellent cookware, coffee and the fixings to go with it! The home was clean and really one of my favorite VRBO stays because of the charm of the home! Our stay was almost 2 weeks and offered the perfect balance we needed while showing horses at the Kentucky Horse Park. We were looking for a place to feel like home during our downtime from our crazy show schedule and this experience could not have been better!!
