The garden was well designed and much enjoyed by our group on the unexpected 70F late November day. The location of the house made for easy walks around town to the grocery store, shops and restaurants, the post office, and the beach. It was the perfect "home base" for a few days in Lewes. The TV's have ltd. cable and we weren't able to figure out the remotes to get even basic stations. If you are going to stay, ask for help with these from the property manager upon arrival. House has some unusual quirks from being subdivided, like the 2nd story bedroom with a 3/4 wall which we needed to monitor our kids around. Beautiful master bedroom, lovely enclosed backyard. The location is amazing- close to the beach and shops, but still on a quiet street. The only issue I would caution someone about is that one bedroom only has half walls (they do not go completely to the ceiling). This made us slightly nervous because there was a huge drop to the living room and we were there with our one and three year old sons. Also, because the bedroom is open to the living room, it was hard for our kids to stay asleep, because they could hear the noises from the rest of the house. This would not stop us from staying there again, but I wish the bedroom walls went up to the ceiling to create a safer and quieter sleeping experience. ##### Katie S. Home was beautifully updated with a very nice fenced yard and garden, and in walking distance to all that downtown Lewes offers. One observation was the lack of beach house amenities typically stocked at this price point: beach chairs, no umbrella for deck table and chairs without shade, beach towels(none available despite linen fee). ##### Christina S.
