Er loopt een spoorlijn vlak langs maar die hoor je eigenlijk niet met de ramen dicht. Aan de andere kant een mooi kasteel met bijbehorende tuin waarin je heerlijk even kunt wandelen. Ontvangst was een beetje vreemd, er lag een formulier met de sleutel op de balie naast meerdere formulieren en sleutels. Moest in het restaurant gaan vragen waar ik kon parkeren. Kamer was ruim, wel een beetje stoffig. De oude elementen van het gebouw met spanten zijn goed zichtbaar. Had geen douche maar een ligbad onder een schuine wand waardoor je niet kon staan om te douchen. Het minste was dat er een sterke kook/frituur lucht in het toilet omhoog kwam.
