« It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area. »

« This was a perfect place to stay. So special, unique, and peaceful. Wonderful location not too far from downtown. The breakfast was delicious. The margarita machine was always such a treat to come back to at night. It was fun playing pool to wind down. Wifi worked perfectly. The management/ staff were very nice and extremely responsive. Rooms and common areas were furnished beautifully. You can tell someone's heart and soul went into making this hotel.I will be coming back! »

« I brought 16 guys to a bachelor party here. The place is amazing. There is a beach within 10 miles. The locals were all very kind and put up with our shenanigans. Mark the owner was a great guy to work with, any thing we needed he was there. I’d do it all over again. »

« We travelled from SE Wisconsin to Black Hills, SD and I wanted a place that would be an easy stop more than halfway to our destination. Just a place to sleep the night so we could easily get back up and going the next morning. Many people recommended we look in Mitchell, SD, however I found this lodge instead. It was about 30min further on our trip, and considerably more affordable! Better yet, it was a more fitting accommodation for our family of 5, offering 3 comfortably sized beds in one...
