« Stepping into this little cottage gave me the sense of being at a family members house. It was comfortable, quaint and familiar. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen could use a little TLC(maybe some shelf liners) and a note to those that like to sleep in...there are only sheer curtains on the bedroom windows, no blinds. I would stay again if ever back in the area. »

« We stayed her for the weekend for my husband’s birthday. Cozy and clean. The shower has hard water but you just have to let it run for a minute or two. Very close to everything. We went into banner elk, Boone and over to Grandfather mountain. It was not cold enough to ski or snow tube while we were there but it’s close to the slopes. There’s a dollar general across the street if you need anything quick. Great place for a weekend getaway. »

Easy access even with the snow and ice and within walking distance of both downtown Boone and a park to walk our dogs. Kelly was a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. »
