This delightful den is tucked discreetly away above the humming streets and shops of downtown Leavenworth. Spend your vacation days touring the town or inhaling some fresh mountain air while you hike, ski, climb, golf, bike, raft, or any number of other outdoor adventures that may be tempting you. When you’ve indulged in your activity of choice and are ready to recharge you will be pleased to return to this conducive condo. When you reach the door of this third-floor unit and step through you will immediately feel cozy with its leather furniture, balcony, open concept, and comfortable King bed. The amenities of this fine home are on the nose with everything you need and nothing you don’t, such as a full kitchen, a master bedroom with a full en suite, and a second bathroom including a shower. Take advantage of the balcony and enjoy some spoils of shopping in the many fine wineries and eateries while watching our bustling little town and all the wonderful people who visit it. Back inside cozy up to your loved one, turn on the electric fireplace and dream up tomorrow’s experience, or step right out the front door and onto the sidewalk to start making your Bavarian dreams come true! Whether you spend your days in the mountains or in the shops this condo is the perfect landing pad for any Leavenworth adventure! Please Note: This unit is located on the 3rd floor and will require you to walk up 2 flights of stairs, as there is no elevator. There is designated parking at this unit for 1 car and it is a carport parking stall with low clearance. There is only room for a small to mid-sized car. The measurements of the carport are: Height: 7 feet from floor to ceiling (not a good idea for cars over 6.5 feet tall) Width: 7.5 feet total across. Length: 16 feet max in car length. It is tight and the driveway is narrow!! With larger vehicles, off-site parking may be required. There is no overnight street parking allowed in the wintertime. If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Ideal location, one short block from the main street, so you can walk everywhere. Because of this location, it would be wise to bring an eye mask if you require darkness when you sleep (very bright exterior lighting) and the unit does provide ear plugs for the 4:30-5:30am trash and delivery trucks that arrived each of our 3 mornings. Parking space is directly under the unit - but was blocked for a few hours one day so we drove around looking for an alternate parking spot. Turns out, the spot was blocked by the property manager's employees (we called Love Leavenworth 3x but they insisted it wasn't their staff). TV had to 'search for channels' each time we turned the TV on, which took 10-15 minutes each time. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans - perfect if you like cooking while traveling. ##### Patrick M. The size of the unit is very comfortable and we could see spending longer than 2 nights easily. The bedding and mattress topper were AMAZING! Very easy to go in/out of town quickly easily without worrying about driving. We were disappointed by the not great cleaning of the unit before our arrival. The apartment shows it's age, and along with wear and tear, it also smells like sulfur. The odor was strong upon entering the unit. The temperature was also chilly and despite turning up the thermostat it was not comfortable without a blanket or double layers. The also aren't kidding about tight parking. We had a compact car, but getting in and out was difficult without the drive being shoveled/cleared of snow. While this might work for families or those only crashing for the night, I would not recommend for a cozy weekend for two. ##### Ann N. My 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again. A couple of minor issues include a tiny parking space that is a challenge to navigate (don't bring a large SUV), and the old sofa which sheds flakes on the floor. Again though, minor. It was a great location to be with a young kid because we could explore everything around the square and be close enough to get back quickly for snacks or bathroom breaks. Walking to restaurants was really convenient, and it was also great to have a full kitchen to make a few of our own meals. ##### Cailin T.
