Tucked beneath the rocky cliffs of Icicle Ridge, this cozy retreat boasts breathtaking, year-round views of Sleeping Lady Mountain, immersing guests in the natural beauty of one of the Pacific Northwest’s most stunning landscapes. Designed for comfort and adventure, the chalet features a warm and inviting living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing natural light to flood in while showcasing the surrounding mountain ridgeline. A woodstove sits at the heart of the home, perfect for cozy evenings after a day of exploring. The fully stocked kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals, while the dining area and comfortable seating nooks create a welcoming space to gather and relax. A unique reading nook under the stairs doubles as an additional sleeping space for those seeking a bit of privacy. The main level includes a private bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a full bathroom equipped with a stackable washer and dryer. However, there are bad forest fires nearby and poor air quality…very poor. I am actually surprised people are encouraged to visit during wildfires. I tried to cancel and the company would not budge, which was tough with a family member with asthma. In this time of more wildfires, YOU MUST get insurance in order to cancel. There were no exceptions. At an expensive rental, this is a lot of money to lose. We came but had to stay inside mostly.
