Staying at the Fox Den was a wonderful experience! It was a great get away for my wife and I; relaxing, comfortable, close to town, beautiful views!

It is a the perfect place for a getaway for two! We only had breakfast one day but it was very good. We stayed in the Arctic Fox room, and enjoyed the heck out of the jetted tub and heated bathroom floors. A smart tv is provided, and a kitchen common area with a fridge and microwave is available to use if needed. The property is beautiful in the snow! The owners are also so welcoming and we loved the hospitality. We’ll be back!

Fox Den 5 stars

The couple that run Fox Den were very warm and inviting. They provided lots of coffee, a hot breakfast and plenty of advice about the surrounding area. They were willing to go out of their way and drive my wife and I to the train station early in the morning. Their dogs and cat were very well behaved and cuddly

Cleanliness was good, hospitality was okay, there was no view out of any of the windows in the downstairs suite so unless you get the upstairs suite there's no view, so if you're claustrophobic don't stay here. Lol!! Like the other reviews said we did feel like we were being reprimanded because some other guests splashed water out and did water damage in the jacuzzi room.There is very little bathroom privacy in the grato room, I would have liked to have a list of the formal introduction for a later reference because we were so tired we literally forgot at least three quarters of what Don said to us when we checked in. Like what remote was for what... Breakfast was good. It was a little warm in the room, but we just opened a window. It was mostly solid ice in the driveway we had to park below, beside the street. The walkway was also so I icy that we just cut through the lawn and walked on top of the snow rather then trying to walk on the icy walk-way. We had to use a toboggan to get out bags up the driveway. I think a little bit of de- icer would have gone a long way.

The room was nice, although very warm, with no option to turn down the heat. The toilet is not private from the rest of the room, which can make for awkward situations. Encounters with the owners/caretakers we’re the most unusual I’ve ever experienced. The (I’m assuming) wife was upset that I hadn’t seen her email regarding dietary restrictions and then when I said I wasn’t sure if my husband would want breakfast, said “Well I’m not going to bother to make it if he won’t eat it.” I again told her I didn’t know and tried frantically to avoid the rest of the conversation. When showing me the room, the husband pointed out a moisture reader and told me, “So, I’ll know if you splash in the tub and don’t clean up after yourself.” Again, this was very uncomfortable for me as the tone implied I was going to do something “wrong”. The next morning, we had to leave unexpectedly early as we are helping our friends build a house in the area and they had an emergency. About an hour after leaving, I receive a text message that states, “Thank you for the heads-up that you would not be eating at the Fox Den. We will feed it to the dogs.” I had sensed a tone and passive aggressiveness the night before, but was completely appalled at the text. We stay in Leavenworth often, but will not return to experience such an unpleasant and uncomfortable environment again. Fortunately our friend is recovering well post-emergency and, apparently, the owner’s dogs ate well that morning.

Amazing

We had a amazing time the place was very nice and we enjoyed our time there. I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before and was totally impressed.i would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice place to stay, me and my husband will probably go back next year. And the food was amazing.

Dan and Lori greeted us upon arrival and knowing we were viaiting for my boyfriends birthday had their sign wishing him a happy birthday. We stayed in the Artic fox, the bed was comfy, the jetted had hot water on demand, everything was clean amd had nice touches with extra charging cords, a way to play your music over the speakers in your room, tons of channels, a welcome center with hikes, menus from local restraunts along with their hours. Can i say breakfast was absolutely amazing both days, everything was hot and fresh!! We are already planning another trip

Best Ever

We just left this amazing Bed and Breakfast! The owners Dan and Lori were amazing. From the accommodations to the breakfast cooked daily it was delightful. I loved all of their lovely animals as well. Staying with them really saved our trip since there was no snow but the property had fun board games and darts. All of their extra amenities were a nice touch as well as the jet bath tubs and complimentary taxi shuttle. Will definitely always stay here

We had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Very clean and attention to details. Enjoyed their pets. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but not too far for drive.

Cozy stay in Leavenworth

This was an amazing B&B. I wish we had stayed more nights! Lori gave us a wonderful tour when we arrived. She showed us the property, the rescue horses, the turkeys, the cats, and their dogs. We also toured the guest area and our room. She explained everything very well in a friendly manner. There were lots of unexpected perks to provide an extra level of comfort, too. I have never had such a pleasant stay!
