The lake is beautiful, but it is not a constant-level lake. If you are looking to bring a boat, we highly suggest checking the lake levels through the LCRA for Lake Travis (Mansfield). Boat Ramps are open when the level is below 679' msl (mean sea level) and Boat Parking is open when lake levels are below 675' msl.

** There is an EXTERIOR monitoring camera at the entrance to the condo as well as cameras around the complex. Absolutely NO cameras on any interior areas of the condo whatsoever.

*Property Damage Protection Fee: Our coverage safeguards you against accidental damages up to $1500, ensuring your relaxation and enjoyment during your stay.
No pets allowed- NO exceptions- there will be a $500 fine.

We do have a rental agreement I will send you to sign and I have included the full list of rules here, but the main ones are:

Here is what the rental agreement will say:
SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between _A Stay Above the Rest___ (“Homeowner”) and _____________________ (“Guest”) as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:

Property. The property is located at:

3404 American Drive, #1223, Lago Vista, TX 78645

The property is furnished and includes such items as: fridge/freezer, stove/oven/microwave, cooking utensils and equipment, bed sheets (including spare sets accessible to the guest), bath/beach towels, essential cooking spices, baking and cooking supplies, etc. [this is not a comprehensive list.]

Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and no more than 5 additional persons***Form of identification must be presented for Guest (only necessary for person signing contract)***


3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons. Anyone under the age of 21 must have a guardian sign and take full responsibility for any and all damages and/or penalties.

4. Term of the Lease. The lease begins at __4:00_ p.m. on _ (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at _11:00 a.m. on __ (the “Checkout Date”).

5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday and peak season periods. 1 night minimum stay may be considered within a week of check in or under special circumstances.

6. Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property.

7. Access: Guest shall allow A Stay Above the Rest access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner..

8. Rental Rate and Fees

Deposit: No security deposit is required

Charge for Damages: Claims of damage will be communicated by A Stay Above the Rest within _14_ days of the Checkout Date based on the following:

damage to the property or furnishings;
dirt or other mess requiring excessive cleaning; or
any other cost incurred by Homeowner due to Guest’s stay.

If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner immediately.

Rental Rate. Rental rates will be communicated via booking site. Payment in full shall be due according to timeframe specified by listing site.

9. *Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows:

_100_% (minus $40 admin fee) if cancelled >_30_ days prior to Check-in Date
__0__% if cancelled inside of __30__ days prior to the Check-in Date

If rates fluctuate, both owner and guest will abide by rates agreed upon in this contract.

*When booked through Marriott HVMB, these cancellation policies do not apply. Please refer to Marriott HVMB for the cancellation policy that applies.

10. Insurance: We encourage all renters to purchase traveler insurance.

Beautiful and well equipped
Pretty decor, nice towels and linens. Loved the body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I wish I knew what brand they were so I could buy them. The kitchen was also stocked with all the things you need. Also, I contacted the host one morning with a question and she replied within a few minutes. We’ll definitely stay again.

Totality
We came to view the eclipse and had a great time. Property was very nice! We enjoyed the view of the lake and we spent quite a bit of time on the deck. It was nice having a table where we could eat outside. Would’ve like to have had more comfier chairs in the dining area as we played games both nights and sat there extendedly. Master bath was terrific. Would consider renting again if we have a reason to be out that direction!

Big Sister’s 50th Early Birthday
Upon entering the unit, we were so pleased that it was everything the listing had detailed. The unit unit is more than adequately arranged and stocked for a care free and relaxing time. The kitchen was well appointed for 2 people that enjoy cooking. The scenery made an amazing backdrop for 2 sisters to spend some time together reminiscing and getting even closer after all these years. Location is easy to get to and close enough to town to enjoy the surroundings and the space itself.

Loved the property and our unit. It's a little farther out than expected, but wasn’t a big deal. Lots of deer around and areas to walk. Played tennis - lights are very dim for night play, but we still had fun. Talking about a Thanksgiving visit!

Very quiet, nice property for a couple's retreat. Couple of things that would have made it perfect getaway are outside lighting on the patio for nighttime use, the patio furniture was not comfy, and the interior floors were dirty.

Pure Relaxation
I recently stayed at the Lago Vista property and had such an absolutely amazing stay. I wanted a quick getaway trip to relax and have some peace from dealing with work and decided to book a last minute trip to Lago Vista. I could not have been more pleased. First, the condo is so comfortable, clean, and decorated so beautifully! Also, we decided to cook all of our meals inhouse prior to the trip and stopped at the grocery store on the way to pick up all the items we needed. To our surprise, the condo had many of the items already there for us. The hosts are super sweet and very accommodating! They were always readily available for any questions we had. I will definitely be back and would recommend in the future. Thank you guys so much!

Peaceful, enjoyable getaway
We decided to take a few days to getaway close by over break. A friend had suggested Lago Vista as they also had just been. Even though it was off season, we very much enjoyed walking the grounds and driving “in” for some tourist activities. The condo is well equipped and has lots of extras as noted. Balcony is large and views can’t be beat! Comms are great with managers and check in and out are seamless!!! Would def stay here again! We all enjoyed it!! Thanks!!

Off season so very quiet. Clean and well stocked. TV’s were a little tricky to figure out and the Spectrum cable service was out. All remotes had dead batteries, but host responded quicky. Hot tub, and exercise room very nice. Overall a good experience.
