« We had a great stay at the Whimsical Hollow. The property manager went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of during a Mother’s Day snow storm. « Thank you to Tanya for a great experience in her beautiful cabin in the mountains. My friends and I stayed for two nights in March 2024 and the property got at least 24" of snow. Tanya was very helpful in organizing a plow so that we could get out even on the worst day of the storm, but the winter mountain roads are as you expect, so we ended up spending nearly all our time in the cabin. « We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was comfortable and cozy. Basic kitchen things provided and the house seemed clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The reverse osmosis water was much appreciated so we didn't have to buy bottled water! we didn't use the basement much as it didn't have heat and was very cold. The hot tub had not been cleaned and was full of algae which was a huge disappointment because that was one of the reasons we booked this house. the sauna was also not functioning...

« Property was incredible. Just incredible. You could hear a pin drop at night. You definitely need 4WD haha. It snowed like crazy during our stay but they got the driveway plowed for us. We had zero complaints. Well actually, it could use a new grill. The knobs don’t function as they should and we couldn’t use it. No biggie. We used the oven/stovetop. We had such a great time doing nothing. Plan ahead and make sure you have all the food and water you will need. The weather is no joke up there....

« This is a very cozy cabin in the mountains. There was close to four feet of snow on the deck when we were there during March for Spring Break. It is pet friendly (with a small fee) which was a plus for us! The rug in front of the fireplace had not been vacuumed when we arrived and there were other similar cleaniness concerns, but nothing huge. It is a cabin the mountains! Our only caution would be if you are a group of four and stay multiple days, you may run out of well water if you shower...
