This house was wonderful and fit all our needs for a weekend away. Our only issue was the steepness of the staircase to the second level. My 2 year old couldn’t do it safely and grandma was terrified she would fall too. First ... if you're reading this review before you go... ignore your GPS. Don't take the Natchez Trace! Take the little road before the Trace, which will take you to Orvilla Road. Then, the turn off for the property is JUST PAST the overpass bridge at a black gate. We spent an hour in the dark wandering the wilderness! Once we arrived, we didn't leave the property. We didn't even get dressed ... we went straight from PJs to swimsuits and back to PJs all weekend! The property was so beautiful, well equipped for snacking all day, a terrific living room for us to sit comfortably and talk and laugh and make great memories! It’s a nice peaceful getaway. The views are nice! The pond has a lot of fish. The hot tub is amazing! It sleeps a lot of people, but would be nice couples get away also. We had a few issues the first night, but owners responded and took care of them promptly. ##### paula w.
