The chalet, a 550m downhill walk from the station, includes a double bedroom, a twin single bedroom, a sofa bed, a terrace garden with outdoor lounging, and access to hiking trails, ensuring a refreshing stay with nature at your doorstep. Discover Panorama 1 our new chalet, starting from summer 2024\. Perfectly capturing the essence of alpine living, this chalet boasts an enviable location with a stunning garden view that allows you to dine al fresco on the terrace amidst the Swiss mountains. After a scenic 550-meter walk from Wengen train station, (10-12 minute walk) you'll find your haven nestled within nature's embrace. And as we are in Switzerland, the final 50 meters to the apartment are rather steep ascent. It is easy accessible though and well paved, but for people having mobility issues and/or babies something to be mindful of, but can assure you it’s doable and the view is absolutely worth it! The interior promises comfort and style with a layout catering to both privacy and communal gatherings. Bedroom 1, features a double bed, while Bedroom 2 offers two single beds, ideal for family or friends. The common area isn't just a space to converge and recount the day's adventures; it also hosts a double sofa bed for additional guests. Prepare meals in a well-appointed kitchen, and step outside to enjoy them with the incredible view. Though be aware, the breathtaking scenery from the garden may just compete with any meal you put on the table. Spacious kitchen, living space, bedrooms and bathroom/wash closet. Made for a very family friendly experience. Loved how close it was to access transportation via trains and gondolas. The view from the patio is spectacular, day and night. The host is very attentive and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. The Wifi in the house is reliable. The only unexpected surprise was the walking distance/elevation from the town - maybe an oversight on my end but we traveled well with a 3 and a 5 year old. The walk up from the chalet to town was about 12-15 minutes. Pack light as you will need to bring suitcases up a steep hill upon check-out. Thank you for your hospitality. ##### Michelle S. The patio has a really amazing view of the valley and waterfalls. Wengen is a great place to stay for access to everything in the area. As the listing clearly notes, there is quite a descent to the place and some stairs, but we were able to manage it both ways on foot with our large rolling luggage, as relatively fit 50-year-olds. There is also a taxi you can book though.
