We could see the whole Lauterbrunnen valley, waterfalls and stunning mountain scenery all around. The apartment was bright and clean and efficient. This would be fine with a small family, but a bit tight for two couples. We would definitely come back.The location is great, with a close proximity to town. Guests should know, however, that there is a hill you have to go up and down that might be a bit steep for some, to get to town. It would also be helpful for the property owner to provide some basic paper products in the kitchen such as a roll of paper towels or serviettes. ##### S H. We have stayed in many rental homes and this was by far the best! We had the most amazing vacation in Wengen and our lodging was part of what made our vacation so memorable. There is only one bedroom so my husband and I decided to take the pullout so we could wake up before the kids and enjoy our coffee on the balcony enjoying the view. Just something to consider. Great decision! House was well stocked. Ate breakfast and most dinners at home. Perfect after long days out hiking, adventuring, biking, etc. Two things to consider but were absolutely not deal breakers:1\. Laundry is just outside and down the steps from front door of chalet. 2\. Little bit of a walk up back to town but 1000% worth the unobstructed view. Just mentioning for anyone with health concern, injury, etc that this might affect. Tip - Do the Wengen hike down from the Männlichen. It was our favorite hike! Tip - Bike in LauterbrunnenOf all the towns in the valley, Wengen was the best!
