The views down the Aure valley from the large deck towards Sait-Lary, the mountains beyond, and Spain are a stunning backdrop for a morning coffee and/or a drink after a day of walking in the beautiful Pyrenees. The house is in a lovely little, quite village on the valley side. It's large, very well appointed, detached and surrounded by garden on all sides. It has more than ample private parking and is an all-round great home-from-home. It's comfortable and well equipped with fast internet/wifi, AC throughout and full laundry facilities. All the bedrooms are very roomy with large ensuite bathrooms. We were welcomed by the lovely Marie, who made arrangements for our late arrival, and popped around the following day (at our convenience) to ensure everything was ok. She had some particularly good advice on hikes and the differences in the weather on the French and Spanish sides of the Pyrenees. We took that onboard and on one overcast and cooler day we ventured through the tunnel to a very warm Spain for lunch in the sun. One of the nicest and quietist walks we enjoyed was directly from the house up to Grailhen and back down around the valley through woods, meadows, and charming villages. Further afield, there are some stunning hikes to be had that suit all abilities and the nearby town of Saint-Lary had plenty to offer. ##### Lee N. Non la propriĂ©taire ne nous a pas prĂ©venus, de l'Ă©tat du logement. Nous avons donc constatĂ© sur place, tout comme les locataires prĂ©cĂ©dents. Le jour de notre arrivĂ©e, une personne est venue pour refaire les joints de la salle de bain du rez de chaussĂ©e pour essayer de limiter les dĂ©gĂąts, nous avions du produit pour les mouches et un aspirateur ! Nous avons envoyĂ© des photos Ă  la propriĂ©taire, un couple est parti en milieu de semaine, la chambre du premier Ă©tage a Ă©tĂ© abandonnĂ©, invivable, insalubre Ă  cause des mouches. Cette chambre dispose d'un lit bĂ©bĂ©, heureusement qu'aucun bĂ©bĂ© n'a dormi ici. Nous pourrions Ă©crire des pages avec ce problĂšme de mouches mais je m'arrĂȘterai lĂ . Il y a eu aussi: des dĂ©faut de propretĂ© (dĂ©chets de babibel Ă  notre arrivĂ©e dans la salle de bain du premier, sucette de bĂ©bĂ© dans le canapĂ©, douche bouchĂ©e au premier), la tĂ©lĂ©commande du chauffage dans une des chambres qui ne marchait pas, donc impossible de remettre le chauffage, on a mis un chauffage d'appoint dans cette chambre, la plaque induction qui s'est arrĂȘtĂ©e (on a rĂ©ussi Ă  la refaire fonctionner)..... ##### Florence A. Le salon est vaste et parfait pour des moments conviviaux, la cuisine est bien Ă©quipĂ©e et les chambres sont elles aussi spacieuses avec des salles d ‘eau de qualitĂ©. Le tout est joliment dĂ©corĂ© et bien chauffĂ©. On se sent trĂšs vite chez soi !!! La station de Salary est trĂšs rapidement accessible. Le grand plus : la terrasse qui surplombe la vallĂ©e, inondĂ©e de soleil, Juste parfaite ! Et une trĂšs belle vue dont on ne se lasse pas . Nous avons pu profiter des extĂ©rieurs vu le temps trĂšs doux mais aussi de la cheminĂ©e Ă©quipĂ©e d’un insert le soir. Seul bĂ©mol la 5Ăšme chambre au 2e Ă©tage n’a pas de volets ou rideaux sur les ouvertures en toiture pas trĂšs pratique pour faire dormir les enfants mais facilement remĂ©diable. EntiĂšrement fidĂšle au descriptif. Dans un tout petit village surplombant la vallĂ©e d’Aure. Parfaitement au calme. Vraiment trĂšs reposant, idĂ©alement en retrait de la station et du monde ! Tout en gardant la station rapidement accessible. Les chambres sont vastes et quatre d’entre elles ont des salles de bain. TrĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©es. La trĂšs grande terrasse et le jardin, un vrai plus : bain de soleil au calme aprĂšs les retours de ballade sur une vue effectivement imprenable. Un vrai festival du matin au soir de variation de couleurs, de nuages sur les sommets. Pour les activitĂ©s. Il y en a pour tous les goĂ»ts. Des incontournables aux plus simples. Ne pas hĂ©siter l’étĂ© Ă  se lever tĂŽt pour certaines ballades : les lacs de Neouvielle notamment. 8h sur site ! Pour Ă©viter la foule. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© ravis de notre sĂ©jour et les propriĂ©taires nous ont trĂšs bien accueillis. Bravo Ă  eux pour avoir redonnĂ© une si belle Ăąme Ă  cette maison. ##### Catherine W.
