Your Space: You get this entire private apartment, not the entire house. Owners live upstairs, and guests rent the 2 apartments in the walkout basement. Cozy studio apartment, fully equipped with just about everything you need. Private entrance with an electronic lock. A well-equipped kitchen includes all new appliances, cookware, and essentials. We are not responsible for injury or lost/damaged property. • I never thought I would need to say this, but Watch Your Kids! We want everyone safe and happy. • Dock: Guests are welcome to use the dock. The water is about 5 feet deep off the far edge of the dock, and it gets deeper from there. • Fishing: You are technically required to have a fishing license. We haven’t had a problem so far, but I’m just letting you know that DNR does come out on the lake sometimes, and could request to see your license. • Want extras? Everything was clean and spotless. Everything you need is right there. The lake is beautiful. Our two dogs loved it and so did we. It was convenient to everything in town and couldn’t be a more perfect location for us. The peaceful surroundings with the lake front just steps away makes this location calm and restful. The Grateful Suite was comfortable and decorated with taste. All necessary items to locate were already identified by (leaf) notes for our convenience. We were there for 26 evenings and totally satisfied with our unit. Three windows opens up the view of the lake and outstanding sunsets. What a BONUS! Our host, Lisa, is remarkable. She was there to greet us at our arrival and just before we left her hospitable nature just shined. We definitely will be checking into this retreat site for our next visit to MI. We booked our stay because of some work we were having done on our house. The fumes made it necessary for us to stay away from home while the varnish smell dissipated. This was a great find! Quiet, cozy, well equipped, clean, check in was a breeze as was checkout. You look out the Windows of the unit to the lake, wildlife and beautiful sunsets. I would recommend a visit here to just relax and get away from your everyday stress. (Many restaurants nearby).
