Nestled on top of the mountain overlooking the North Fork of the New River valley, Trout Lily Cabin is convenient to everything that Ashe County has to offer, including The New River, downtown shopping, dining, and outdoor activities. The main level offers an open concept with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for 6, and a cozy living room with a free-standing wood stove. This area boasts vaulted ceilings, plenty of windows allowing long range views of the mountains, and a smart TV. Step out onto the wrap around porch to enjoy the long range mountain vistas and ample seating for you and your guests! The covered deck is also equipped with a gas grill and a picnic table so you can cook and enjoy a meal all while admiring the view. The main level also features the first bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom with a walk-in shower and vanity, and washer and dryer. Upper level enters into a lofted space with futon, a set of twin bunk beds, and more views of the mountains. The upper level also includes a second bedroom with a queen bed as well as the second full bathroom equipped with a shower/tub combo and vanity. We especially liked the wood burning stove, the comfortable living room seating, the availability of sheets and towels, and the kitchen tools/utensils/knives. The bunk beds and futons for the kids worked well. I would recommend bringing your own pillows if it's feasible as the extra firm bed and old pillow combination in the loft bedroom was not great. ##### Carl R.
