Points faibles : Service et personnel #### Disappointing Arrived at the hotel and the exterior looked like a proper country hotel and though we had struck lucky. Checked in to be told the restaurant was closed due to a wedding the next day. So we were treated to some very mediocre bar food..not good. There had been a funeral the day before our stay and the bar stock was low, no basics like diet lemonade. Our bedroom was fine but with quite a dated bathroom. The breakfast was awful, dry over cooked full Scottish gruel. But I think what really summed up my stay and the attitude of the hotel staff was the member of staff sitting on the reception counter talking to the receptionist, now that is touch of class you do not see every da.
