Escape to the coziest, lakeside cottage. Recently renovated to perfection, this quaint and well-kept 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located on a private road and down the road from a private beach paradise. This property is perfect for couples, families and friends alike as it is a cozy space, yet large enough for privacy. Enjoy cooking in a well equipt kitchen, read a book on the covered porch, walk down the lane to dip your feet in the lake, or enjoy a nice barbecue with a cocktail- your options here are endless. In case you aren't a well suited guest for completely unconnecting, we have the fastest wifi you will ever experience and a cable TV in each room. The house has its own driveway for ample overnight parking and an in-unit washer/dryer for convenience. Complete with air conditioning and heat, your stay here is guaranteed to be enjoyable and comfortable. Our superb location is a stones throw from Union Pier, New Buffalo and Harbert, but nestled in our own friendly, lakeside community. We provide many amenities to make sure your stay is as effortless as possible, after all, life is great at the lake!

We are Family Friendly: We proudly partner with BabyQuip for Baby Gear Rental. Additional information available upon request from owner. Including but not limited to: strollers, wagons, car seats, full size cribs, Snoo's, pack n' plays, highchairs or boosters, toys, baby gates, extra beach gear and much more. The Cottage

My family and I stayed at The Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and just a short walk to the beach. It is also a close drive to New Buffalo. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Great Beach Cottage

Had a fantastic stay with our family, 5 total. Access to the private beach was the best part. Short drive to New Buffalo and other towns. Planning to go back next summer !

Perfect Lake Michigan Getaway

We had an amazing long weekend at this cottage. The home had everything we needed for our beach time (chairs, towels, umbrella, and even a boogie board). We loved relaxing on the porch after a long day in the sand, and the quiet street was wonderful. Host was also very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Charming and Peaceful

We had a very relaxing stay at this comfortable 1920s-era cottage. The well equipped kitchen and luxurious master bath are terrific. We enjoyed walking, biking and swimming at the beautiful beach.

Quant and quiet

The home and neighborhood are lovely. Though in what feels like a safe location the area is populated and off of a main highway. Though the walk to the beach isn’t far the bike lock used for the gate was unexpected. Well worth the walk the view and beach access is just as stunning during off season.

The Lake House

Very clean and cozy, everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The semi-private beach was beautiful and not crowded at all and my kiddos could swim and roam, and not be close to others during the pandemic.

Just what our family needed!

Every year we come to the area for our annual vacation. This was the our 2nd year staying at the Lakeside cottage and it was wonderful. The cottage had everything we needed and we love being so close to the beach especially during our last stay when we had 95 degrees over the weekend. Hope to make this our family tradition and stay next year!

Excellent location, adorable cottage

The cottage was very clean when we arrived and the decor is charming. However, the location is the best thing about the home. The walk to the beautiful, private beach only took minutes and we loved how much beach time we were able to squeeze in. There is also several playgrounds nearby as well as some awesome breweries, bakeries, and restaurants.

Peaceful getaway cottage

The property was charming. A small, clean cottage located on a peaceful street with big trees and a short walk to a beautiful private sandy beach. Decor was a bit dated, but the front enclosed porch and front yard were nice to sit out on and read. The beautiful sunsets were a highlight each evening.

Wonderful beach and great July 4 fireworks

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is cozy and we loved the beach. Having been to other places along this stretch, I can say this was the best. The kitchen is great and well stocked. There are lots and lots of restaurants close by. Probably, the highlight of our stay was being on the beach for amazing fireworks all up and down the beach. Best place to watch besides a boat. Thanks for the wonderful time!

Great Family Weekend

We had a wonderful time at this perfect cottage. Our 2 daughters, their husbands and our baby grandson joined us for our annual trip to the area. The 3 bedroom cottage was perfect for our family and had everything we needed including parking for our 3 cars. The location was beautiful and we all enjoyed the private expansive beach. A true country experience for city folks.
