The location was perfect for walking to the beach and town. We've been renting different houses at Kings Beach for decades and this is our new favorite. We definitely hope to come back again, so we only have a couple small suggestions. The weather was gorgeous (early Sept) and after the beach, we wanted to sit on the front porch, but it was way too sunny and hot without an umbrella or two. Also, a sectional for the living room would have been ideal for a family to watch a movie. Other than that, it was beautiful, comfortable, clean, the ideal location, and even had a garage. There were eight of us and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was clean and comfortable with a ton of extra towels and linens. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook a family meal. The beds were comfortable and the separate thermostats on each floor really helped regulate the temp throughout. The location is perfect and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We were a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t heating properly but the property manager called me prior to our stay to inform me of the issue. Overall a very pleasant stay. The neighborhood leaves something to be desired. This is NOT South Lake Tahoe. But it is close to a beach and a launch (which was closed because of the drought and one of the main reasons we chose this house). Easy to check in and out. We brought food, except for three take outs. The beach was a very short walk away and perfect Mon - Thursday. We did sunrise hikes with no crowds at all! The backyard and deck we perfect to spread out and relax. It was nice to have the yard space that you don't have in a condo. ##### susa b.
