It was a great renovated cute vibe, walkable to things in Tahoe City, friendly staff, and we liked the coffee shop at the front desk. The main problem was that the bed and pillows were all terrible, it seems like they updated the whole hotel except the beds. As much as we would love to come back, we did not get a great sleep here. I absolutely loved the stay at Badecamp Tahoe City! This place is an absolute gem – a perfect blend of modern style and cozy mountain charm. The interior design is incredibly well thought out – clean, minimal, yet full of personality. Every detail feels intentional, from the furnishings to the lighting. One of the absolute highlights were the fire pits in the evening – such a great way to wind down after a day of exploring the lake. The hotel feels boutique yet laid-back, with a great atmosphere throughout. It’s clear that a lot of love went into creating this space. Also worth noting: the value for money is excellent. For the location, design, and comfort, it’s very fairly priced – especially compared to other options around Lake Tahoe.
