Located right across from Glen Lake our cabin combines modern finishes with a rustic cabin charm and peaceful views of the lake. We are tucked away but still within 9 minutes to down town Lake George and 25 minutes to Saratoga Springs! The Red Oak cabin sleeps 5 people comfortably and designed with a spacious layout. Guests can enjoy a delicious dinner at the Full Moon Bar and Grill that is within walking distance. Another great choice for dinner nearby is the Docksider. The property was clean, had a very updated interior, and was so cozy I wish I were still there. Brianna, the host, was very polite during our minute-long phone conversation, where she explained to me that she needed to run over to the house to replace some batteries before my arrival. Besides that, I did not need to contact her as everything was perfect! The area was amazing, and the roads were plowed regularly, which was especially important to me because my car is FWD. My girlfriend and I stayed here because we were skiing at Gore Mountain and wanted somewhere that was affordable, modern, and comfortable. This was truly a positive experience for both of us. There were 2 adults and 3 children ranging in age from 3-12\. The cabin was PERFECT for us. There were many well thought out details at the cabin- from having an additional half bathroom to the kitchen supplies. The basketball hoop in the back with space to play was a huge plus. We really enjoyed the front porch, the availability of seating everywhere outside- the porch, the back area with a table and around the fire pit.There were all the basics you need- plenty of towels, sheets and an extra blanket along with the essentials were well stocked to cook and prepare food in the kitchen. There were even some bonus extras like coffee & filters that made life easier!Host was easy to contact when we had a question and responded very quickly. We really enjoyed the restaurant that was literally a 2 minute walk around the corner. Great food and super friendly staff! We went there twice in just a few days. We also found plenty of adventures to do all within 20 minutes of the cabin. Tubby Tubes, Revolution Rail Biking, miniature golf of course and Saratoga Springs Racetrack were all close! Plenty of things to do all while not being in the middle of congestion and ‘the busieness’ of crowds. Lake George one way and Saratoga Springs the other along with Glen Lake/ Falls area a short drive away. We LOVED our stay and would 100% come back if we were returning to the area!! ##### Jeffrey R. Excellent place to visit with friends. The cabin was just as pictured. Great location with a stunning view of the lake. The interior was clean, cozy and inviting. Really enjoyed the indoor fire place and the backyard was beautiful at night. Host provided a great list of local places to eat which was very helpful. It’s a fairly recent renovation by attentive owners who have thought of everything necessary to make your stay very comfortable.
