« This property feels like it is in the middle of complete privacy, yet is close to adequate shopping and dining. If you want alittle more life, it is reasonably close to Halifax and Lunenburg. The home is beautiful and restful. I cannot say enough how much we loved it, even in the pouring rain!! »

« We had a lovely stay with our family of 9. The house was clean and well stocked with everything that we would need. Spacious bedrooms with all the comforts of home. Beautiful property - we tried fishing and the kids enjoyed searching for shells on the shoreline. We also enjoyed the BBQ, fire table and arcade machine. The house is close to a grocery store, restaurants and other amenities. Gary (our host) was welcoming, kind, and helped us with any questions that we had! »

« We had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful property. The house is a very short drive to a provincial park with a lovely beach. I feel comfortable recommending the property for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Just one note: if you visit during the summer months, be sure to bring mosquito repellent. »

« Very clean home with great views and several nice touches like a welcome bottle of wine and an assortment of toiletries and a well-stocked kitchen. We stayed to attend a family wedding in the area and didn't have time to make use of the hot tub or kayaks. We would definitely stay here again. Harry was great to deal with. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Vania & Joe’s home. It has a fabulous view of the harbour, comfortable beds, and lots of supplies. Air conditioning was a plus on a couple of hot, humid days. Vania is a terrific hostess and frequently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend Harbour View as a great place from which to enjoy all the eastern shore has to offer. »

« My stay at flowedge was fantastic in all aspects. The dome itself was furnished and fitted to a very high standard and well equipped for cooking some great food. Great cottage near beautiful beaches !
"We had a wonderful stay ! Thanks to the hosts, they were great ! The cottage is even better in real than advertised. There are beautiful beaches near the cottage. Our favorite one is Clam Harbor. Martinique Beach and Taylor Head are also nice. All the beaches were recommended by the hosts. Cottage is only one hour from Halifax. The host recommended to take the ferry from Dartmouth to Halifax. It was easy, cheap and nice to be on the water. It was also a great experience to see eagles from the cottage. To relax in the cottage, internet is great and there is Netflix. The only thing we dislike was the odor of the water from the well and the color orange for the warm water. Other than that it was perfect !"
