The unit had just about everything we needed. Some BBQ tools would be a good addition. But we appreciated the dishes provided, beach chairs and umbrella! We cooked several meals, enjoyed slow mornings on the lanai watching the birds, and loved evening walks on the beach walk. It’s the perfect distance from Whalers Village on one side and Duke’s on the other. We loved the options of hanging on the beach, at one of the pools, or in a lounge chair in the grass. Castaway Cafe is a great addition. We even watched the playoff game from the bar AND saw whales breaching in the distance. Some have complained about the road noise. Yes, there is some, but it was basically a nonissue for us. We couldn’t hear the road noise at night, in fact we slept like babies!One last note, everyone on staff is amazing. We checked out at 11am but our flight left at 9pm. They stored our bags, we still had full access to the property and they even had showers available. ##### Julie B. The grounds are pristine, the pool area is great and Castaway Cafe serves great drinks and an amazing breakfast. It was great being right on the beach, access to the pools, and having the onsite restaurant/bar. The only issue we had was to find that our room had a few roaches and bugs upon arrival. Less than a 5 minute drive in either direction you’ll find great food, drinks, and shopping. The place was very nice and clean. The shower is huge. The beach equipment that was included were nice to have. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Also, along the beach is a really nice boardwalk to explore. The bathroom area was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There were 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas (one was broken, but we didn’t realize it until our last day - not a big deal as we were able to figure out a way to make it work). Great beach, quiet surroundings, two nice pools, and it was nice having Castaways for quick apps, drinks, and easy button dinners. Beautiful Hawaiian foliage provided a splendid view from the lanai and the amazing golden sand beach was a 4 minute walk from the unit. ##### Eric U. The unit we stayed in was even nicer than the pictures… immaculate and pretty much everything you need! Having a pool on site (which is beautiful) and private beach you can’t ask for anything more! Parking can be a little trying at time because there is reserved parking for the regulars, but we did always seem to find a spot just down a little ways. It was great and easy to stop at Costco and the grocery store after getting out of the airport to stock up on snacks, water and little essentials for the week. Remember you have to pay for bags in Hawaii… we learned the hard way and didn’t bring any from home. There are 2 nice beach chairs and a small cooler provided. Beach towels are provided by the Villa on check in and can be exchanged for clean ones. There is a separate location to do laundry since there isn’t one within the unit. I decided not to use this since it was just my husband and I. Check in and out was easy and the staff was very friendly! We look forward to staying here again! ##### Shannon B. Séjour de 14 nuits en janvier 2023 ### 8/10 – Bien #### judy m. 24 nov. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Great resort Kaanapali Villas is a special place with incredible snorkeling just down the beach. Have stayed there several times over many years. No knowledge of our reservation when we went to check in. Resolved but awkward and not what we needed arriving tired… Good bed and nice studio, although over- perfumed with diffusers we had to put outside. They were still a problem. Appliances fine but could use more utensils and a little foil or waxed paper would have been very welcome. Needed instructions for Thermostat. Location fine but bad traffic noise from highway. Light out over stove and one of ceiling lights as well making cooking somewhat challenging. Very clean and nice welcome note and treats. All problems but the traffic noise can be easily remedied.
