The place is very comfortable to stay in. The kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes, pans, etc. so we could make dinner at home. The view from the balcony and upstairs guest room is wonderful - we could watch the sunset over Catalina Island. The neighborhood is quiet and about a 15 min walk to Main beach. Although a little outdated and noisy with construction across the street, the size of the cottage was perfect. Our daughter stayed upstairs and we had the king downstairs. The bed was a little too soft for us, but the room was quiet and comfortable. The cottage had an amazing view of the sunset and was close to the beach. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or downtown to shop. The free trolley stop is close by. This made it easy for us when we wanted to take a break from walking. We took the trolley quite a bit and the closest stop was just a couple blocks away! The layout was also perfect and spacious for our family with the master bedroom downstairs and the “kids room” upstairs. 2 bathrooms was a plus as well! It could use some upgrades the sleeper sofa is very uncomfortable to sleep on.
