The beds were comfortable and the house had everything you needed as far as linens, dishes, things to cook, and a nice outside seating area. Plenty of places to eat and see around the area too. « Host was quick to respond to any issues. It was very quiet and staff was nice. Room had a few issues, tub wouldn't stop so couldn't bathe the baby. Previous guest let toiletries and medication in a draw of thw vanity. A hazard for a child. Host apologized. First time a host asked that you take any used garbage bags out and placed in an outside bin. »

« When I arrived to the room it was really warm in there, I figured out how to turn the ac on and it cooled off some but the room remained warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy, the room was very clean. Unfortunately the tv didn’t work and the restaurant staff downstairs were very loud and you could hear everything, at times they were cussing and yelling, made my stay unsatisfactory, the front door had a squeak to it so every time someone came through you heard it. Probably won’t stay...

« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...

We spent most of our days out on the water boating and catching fish, then ended the nights with a big bonfire on the lawn.
