When we walked into the home it smelled musty. Inspecting the house. We noticed a few things- stains on the chairs, dead bugs inside the overhead light fixtures, stains on the carpets in the bedrooms. I've rented before and I've had wonderful luck with most rentals that we've been at. Unfortunately with this situation, we chose to leave the rental property early. Contacted the property owner in regards to the situation. Sent pictures over to show what we had found in the rental property. The property was left as we had found it and he had returned only the per night house charge and no other fees which was only 1/4 of my monies. Yes, we did leave on the fact of these issues but I would have expected more refund. The house is very clean, well supplied for an eight day stay. The front screened in porch served us well each morning while enjoying morning coffee, the showers were very clean and water pressure was perfect. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Dan the owner was the best part of our stay, he responded to all of our questions quickly, especially during our stay. Yes, even in the dead heat of August, it was a beautiful location. The home was clean and the floorplan was perfect for us. We hope to stay here again when we visit again. Very clean and many amenities to make for a pleasant stay. The community was well taken care. The property owner stayed in contact and was accommodating for our needs.
