The cottage and island is great for families with small children. There's a small beach on the island where kids can play and swim on the lake in a protected area. Cottage is very close to grocery stores and nearby attractions. While positioned as 3 bed-rooms, it's more like a 2 bedroom, with a 3rd sleeping area w/ a bunk bed that's sectioned off the living rooms with a curtain. The host was really quick to respond and had the cottage stocked with all of the essentials, from linens to utensils. The condo is cozy and inviting and has plenty of space. Our teen loved having his own place to sleep downstairs and our younger son claimed the bunk beds right away. The kids loved the game room and we loved sitting on the back porch to drink our morning coffee. There is a nice swimming area on a private beach and great fishing right behind the condo.
