Attached to the house, but entirely independent - private entrance - The nest of the sparrowhawk is only 10 km from Isle sur la Sorgue, 6 km from Pernes les Fontaines, and 5 km from St Didier: far from everything, close to everything ... A living room of 28 m2 with American kitchen, a bedroom of 20 m2 with bathroom - walk-in shower and separate WC, overlooking a terrace under the oaks, from where you can see the sparrowhawk that lives and nests on the property. 30 m2 terrace with teak lounge and barbecue, of course !! 80 m2 private garden In the heart of an oak and pine forest, the property includes an above-ground swimming pool (6x4) open from May to September shared by the owners, a relaxation area (table tennis, table football) and sun loungers. We had a lovely private outside patio space with table, chairs and loungers. Spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area, very neat and well equipped kitchen that provided everything we needed during our stay. Large double bed and lovely en-suite shower and toilet. The temperature was in the thirties (late July) during our stay but even though there was no air con the gite surprisingly remained relatively cool during the day and the night. The gite is quite remote but we had an lovely, relaxing vacation away from it all with a pool that we always had to ourselves during our two week stay. We really appreciated the wine, water and preserve that was kindly left for our arrival. We would highly recommend. Thank you Sylvie ##### David M. There is only of view of it from the swimming-pool or the car park, which is not clear from the description. Impossibility to lock the flat, so at night or when you leave the place, the doors/windows are NOT locked. Bad Internet connection. Impossibility to make a phone call. After a warm welcome from Slyvie we had everything we needed and more. Very spacious for two people, loads of crockery, comfy bed and fantastic walk in shower. The outside space is great with your own private terrace with table chairs and sun beds and then a lovely cooling pool with more chairs and loungers. Jetzt kommt das ABER: Wer NICHT absolute Ruhe sucht und z.B. Rad fahren will, der ist am Ende eines schmalen und teilweise steilen Waldweges vielleicht nicht am richtigen Platz. Dazu muss man ins Auto steigen und einen geeigneten Ausgangspunkt anfahren. Als unser Auto kurzzeitig streikte, ist uns sehr schnell klar geworden, dass ein Abtransport so gut wie unmöglich gewesen wäre. Inmitten der Bäume und mit Blick auf das Mont Ventoux Massiv kann man die Seele umgeben von Vogellauten baumeln lassen. Schnell ist man mit dem Auto in L´Isle sur la Sorgue, Carpentras oder Pernes les Fontaines, kann aber auch direkt mit dem Rad zahlreiche Touren unternehmen. Prima bed! Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met attenties. Eigen opgang en P. Compliment aan gastvrouw en gastheer! Heerlijk rustig, aan het eind vd weg in de bergen.
