Spectacular Master Penthouse - Best Ocean view and sunsets on the Sea of Cortez

This is your opportunity to rent an exclusive Penthouse with a unique breathtaking private terrace (79 sq.m). All has been thought to make outside living a paradise! A large teak patio table with a protective sunshade, outdoor sofa and chairs with cushions and two lounge chairs perfect for sunbathing or afternoon apéro... A propane gas Bar-B-Q grill is also on this private terrace. Two bedrooms with comforters and extra large walk-ins, two full bathrooms and luxurious finishing such as travertine marble tiles throughout and granite counter tops... you have all the space needed (98 sq.m) for up to 5 guests. An elevator (5 floors) and one flight of stairs bring you to our fabulous terrace. You will have satellite TV in each room, Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer (new in May 2023). A pool and a second Bar-B-Q is available in a nicely furnished common area, one covered parking, 24 hour security, best neighborhood in town!

Incredibly, you can have all this and a perfect location too! It’s only a two minute drive to the Malecon offering La Paz's best restaurants and entertainment.

Better than expected
The space was clean and bright. Cooking untensils were mostly in great shape. The amenities for the guests were quality. The privacy and view were better than the pictures show. Too bad the common area like the pool wasn’t as well kept. We would stay there again.

Wonderful
We rented this property in celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. A special treat for us. We were not disappointed. The view is just stunning. We found it irresistible and spent most of stay on the deck soaking it in. The apartment itself was clean and well appointed. Good beds with nice linens etc. The storage for personal effects was astounding! The property manager was wonderful. Our only regret is that we only booked 3 days. It was very hard to leave! Thank you Steve and Sophie for sharing your lovely eagles nest with us!

Stylish front row seat over La Paz
Huge view, spacious terrace, clean modern interior with lots of beautifully crafted cabinetry and two comfortable bedroom suites situated on opposite sides of the kitchen/living area. Designed with privacy and outdoor living in mind, and that includes the front row seat of La Paz and the outlying sea and mountains. A unique property at a surprisingly affordable price, shared by a couple whose stylish and generous spirit is exhibited throughout. And thank you, Vivi, for guiding us in our stay.

Ginormous patio and epic view
We felt like we were on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous (for those old enough to remember that show). The place was gorgeous with incredible windows and the hugest patio that I have ever seen that looked over all of La Paz and the ocean. There were even ocean views from the shower and toilet. It was a great stay for our family of 4 (2 teenagers) - well laid out space, helpful communications, easy check in, and safe and secure. Thanks to our hosts! We really enjoyed La Paz and highly recommend Harker Board Co as an eating spot if you like craft beer and a great diversity of delicious food.

Wonderful apartment with unbeatable terrace and view!
The apartment was beautiful and even larger than it appeared in photos. The terrace was enormous and had a stunning view of the surrounding area and ocean, as well as lots of very nice outdoor furniture to lounge on. Viri the apartment manager was lovely and accommodating to our delayed arrival, and owners Steve and Sophie were very communicative. Two minor notes, the hot water heater for the master bathroom didn't work during our stay. We notified Viri about it and she offered to send someone over to fix it the next day, but we were only there for three days and the hot water in the other shower worked so we told her not to worry about it for us. Hopefully that is now fixed! Unrelated to the apartment itself but just to keep in mind about its location, it is located at the top of a large hill that takes around 7-8 minutes to drive up, and only has a sidewalk during the first quarter or so. We had a rental car that we used for getting around La Paz during the day, but when we wanted to go out at night we used Uber. Uber drivers were hit and miss with whether they wanted to drive up the hill to pick us up, one night we couldn't get anyone to come up, one night we got a driver after a few passed, and the last night we decided to just walk down to the main drag since it was still daylight and get an Uber from there. Fortunately we never had any issues with getting an Uber to drop us back off, but it's something to keep in mind if you don't have your own car and/or don't want to force someone to be DD for the evening. We admittedly did not try to use any taxi services, just Uber. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again, hopefully next time for longer!

Beware your Credit Card
Briefly - Beautiful view but owners must think that renters must pay for all their maintenance. We had a number of issues that inconvenienced us, such as pipes bursting in 2nd bathroom which meant we couldn't use for 2 days and door handle breaking off. In addition, the water pressure and hot water was terrible and resulted in a plugged toilet. All these resulted in an extra bill to my credit card to cover costs and labor. Not to mention, charging me for paint for a wine stain and we didn't even have wine or anything red in the unit. I wrote a response to them and have heard nothing. So, as my review title says, watch your credit card because these owners want their renters to cover everything, including use and wear and tear. Also to note, no remotes for DVD or TV in Second bedroom so these didn't work and be sure to duck because of the nails in spare bedroom bunkbed.

The location is perfect and safe. The view is spectacular and it has the most beautiful sunset view. The person in charge was always available via phone but did not get to meet her; her daughter greeted us instead. The place was spacious, had A/C and the terrace was very spacious. There’s a community pool, but seemed like it hadn’t been clean for a couple of days when we got there. The only thing we had issues with was the tv in the small room, we couldn’t figure it out. Overall our stay was pleasant and met our expectations.

It's the little things
This property was impeccably clean. However, there were enough little things wrong that we probably won't stay again. Here is some of our issues. 1. Towels were old. 2. Beach towels not available until 3rd day of 4 day stay. 3. Blinds are not in working order. 4. Some lights did not work. 5. No coffee or tea available. 6. The master bed is extremely high. A small stable stool would have been appreciated for those that are vertically challenged. 7. We did not appreciate the changes in floor levels in the Master Suite. 8. The deck has a lot of sun exposure and not enough shade to escape to when needed. 9. Cabinet hardware is degrading (falling apart) throughout the house. One cabinet door fell off. 10. The shower head needs to be cleaned of build up because the flow is wonky. 11. There were no extra blankets (that we could find) to sit comfortably outside on a sunny but windy day or on a cool morning. 12. Evacuation plan in case of fire or earthquake is not provided. During our stay we felt very safe (gate with a guard) and enjoyed the view. The deck/outside area is phenomenal. However, we had some windy chilly days and it was hard to enjoy without blankets. I can't imagine staying at this place in the summer when the sun would be blazing and the only relief would be the stationary tarp. At this price point, we think we could do better. Major kudos to the cleaning staff. However, we probably won't be back.

Really nice, clean place. The outdoor terrace and being on the top (6th) floor was the tru value of this property and was perfect for two of us with comfortable outdoor furniture and dining area. Good kitchen with pots, pans and utensils. Really enjoyed our stay.

The property was was definitely as advertised. The only things we didn’t expect was the elevator only going to the 5th floor, and the property was on the 6th floor. The person checking us in didn’t speak English, which wasn’t a problem as long you have WhatsApp. The final thing was there wasn’t any bar soap in either of the bathrooms.

El Penthouse hera hermoso pero tiene una cafetera de dos tazas no hay cacerolas, los sartenes ya estan deteriorados y los utensilios de cocina tambien . No funcionaba la TV ni el sistema de cable. Spring getaway
We were supposed to stay here last year but due to the pandemic we had to reschedule twice. However, we were finally able to make it this April and it did not disappoint. The property was fabulous and the view couldn’t have been any better! We spent mornings and some evenings out on the balcony enjoying the view and nice warm breeze. The view from the master shower was amazing! We had everything we needed in this condo. We had a pleasant surprise finding beach chairs and umbrellas as well as a cooler to use for our beach trip. We only had a couple hiccups that really wasn’t too big of a deal. One, we ran out of water on our second day(I think it was our second day) but it was quickly filled back up. This is common in La Paz as it’s not the same as in the US. There is a shortage there and water has to be used sparingly. Two, the parking spot is shared with the neighbor in the second MPH suite, which the person who checked us in didn’t really tell us they just told us someone was in it and we’d have to reach out to the owner. The neighbor was nice and we only had to move once so he could park his jet ski. My daughter(21 years old) did say the bed in the second bedroom was super uncomfortable and woke up with some aches the next day. We were able to find some stuff to help make it more comfortable for her though. Lastly the trash can in the kitchen is small and no other trash bags were provided so we had to manage without any extras. These were all minor things that didn’t really interfere with our stay. My family and I really loved our stay here and would love to come back. Thank you for letting us stay in your home away from home!

Very nice property with a beautiful view
This was a very nice property with an amazing view of la Paz. Dogs in the neighborhood were a little loud at times and there were no trash bags. I would recommend it to anyone. The property manager nazar was extremely helpful. It has to have one of the best views in all of la Paz.
