Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom). We invite all our guests to help us care for this precious asset, following these recommendations: \- Close the faucet while you wash your dishes \- Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth or lathering your hands \- Take shorter baths/showers & turn off the faucet when lathering The TVs in the unit are flat-screen TVs with streaming services. Please note that cable channels are not available. We provide some complimentary essentials upon arrival, such as toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. Please note that these are not replenished. Please refrain from consuming food or beverages in the living room. Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee, in this case, charged on the day of check-in. Please turn off all fans, AC devices, and lights. Dishes without food should be left inside the dishwasher. A default will cause a $20.00 USD fine. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. Please be respectful of the neighbors. \- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. \- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property. \- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay. \- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay. \- Please avoid moving furniture. \- Pets are not allowed. \- Please avoid sitting on the sofas while wearing wet clothes - this practice stains fabrics and creates mold. You will be responsible for any damages made to the furniture during your stay. \- Please close and lock all doors and windows upon check out. By failing to do so you will incur a penalty of $50 USD. Please note that you may hear dogs barking during your stay, as some neighboring homes have dogs. As a precaution, please do not lock the interior doors, as we do not have keys to open them if needed. My family and I loved our stay at Esterito. Location was perfect. 1 block from the beach and a short walk to the center of town, but far enough away that the neighborhood was quiet at night. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and well appointed. Everything is brand new. Lots of extra towels both for at home and the beach. We had seen the earlier review about the bugs, but this home was spotless with not a bug in sight. Communication with the host was immediate when we had any questions. We stayed here for 5 nights while doing our PADI certification with the Cortez Dive Club and would definitely come back to stay here. It was our first time in La Paz and we loved it. Séjour de 5 nuits en juin 2025 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Luisa A. 11 janv. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté #### We stayed somewhere else I rented this house for 21 days for Christmas. I only spent two nights in this house due to the number of cockroaches this house has. The quality of the blankets they have (I had hives for those two nights) was another reason why I couldn't stay one more night. I had to stay at friends houses/hotels for the rest of my vacation. Double expense for us.The staff couldn't do anything about the blanket issue because I didn't mention it within their established time frame for receiving complaints.The “cleaning staff” was sent over to find evidence to support another cleaning (apparently dead roaches all over the house was not enough evidence of a filthy place) and they didn’t approve another cleaning or even remove the dead cockroaches they saw when they were there. There only offer at that point was a new set of sheets (my complaint was never about the sheets). With the issue of cockroaches, they only said that it was because they had fumigated (they didn't let me know prior to my arrival) and they could fumigate again..Wow! I was traveling with 2 young kids! How safe will a fumigation be in Mexico? I don't know, and I didn't want to find out. Maybe that was the issue with my hives/rashes? Who knows. In general the house does not feel clean at all.Dealing with this house consumed too much of our family vacation time. I had to text them,dropped off keys,sending photos of the roaches, all of this while I was on Christmas vacation. I didn’t even receive an apology nor any a discount. ##### Luisa A.
