Take a short walk or drive, and find yourself at Windansea Beach or the Village. This home has everything you need for a great gathering of friends and family, including a large living room, additional family room, and a newly constructed pool & hot tub to relax in. Enjoy the beautiful details inside with custom quartz stone flooring, thermador kitchen appliances, and an entry level master bedroom that opens up to a peaceful garden and much more. \*\*\*\*\*This is not a party house. We have a very strict policy that quiet hours begin at 9pm everyday .\*\*\*\*\* \*PLEASE NOTE ALL WEEKEND STAYS ARE 3 NIGHT MINIMUM $1,500.00 PER NIGHT EXCEPT DURING HIGH SEASON WHEN RATES ARE HIGHER. \*Weekend bookings: For 3 night weekend stays it is $1,500 per night whether it is Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday (not including high season which has higher rates). With a formal living room, formal dining room, 2 family rooms (one with additional queen bed), and breakfast bar there is plenty of space for the whole family. For additional comfort, enjoy the spacious bunk beds, with each bed being full sized. The kitchen features quality custom made cabinetry with a one of a kind large granite slab island. Thermador gas cook top range, double oven and warmer, as well as a sunny breakfast area that opens up to a large & luscious back yard & pool. Spanish Cedar trim windows and french doors leads you to a paradise retreat to spend time with family and friends. The exterior of the home has beautiful landscaping with garden terraces that offer an abundance of opportunities for entertaining in a gorgeous outdoor setting. The heated spa, outdoor bath, shower and barbecue area offer hours of fun and entertainment. Did we mention the sport court at the top terrace with a basketball hoop? There is also a ping pong table right out of the kitchen in the backyard for hours of fun. The spacious home provides 6 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms. 2 of the 6 bedrooms are exterior bedrooms (Bedrooms 5 & 6), which make them only accessible from outside. One has a twin bed with a connected bathroom, and the other with a California King and an interior day bed. One of the 6 full bathrooms is conveniently located near the pool. Pool heating is $150 per day. If you would like the pool pre heated we charge a fee of $200 dollars. If you would like the pool heated over 82 degrees there is a charge of $250 per day up to 88 degrees maximum. Please let us know ahead of time so we can alter your reservation. Parties/Events of any kind are not permitted. Failure to comply will result in being asked to vacate the home immediately with no refund. "Our space is located near a port city. Though we treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of nature. Our space may not be a fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife. " Guests have access to entire home, apart from the garage. During holiday season (Christmas, Hannukah, New Years, etc.), there is a one week minimum (7 nights). We had 7 kids and they had an absolute blast playing in the pool throughout the day (it was a huge plus that it was heated too) as well as playing with the ping pong table and basketball hoop. The house is on the older side, but it has everything you need and is quite spacious. Each of the 4 bedrooms in the house has a bathroom which is nice (1 of the bedrooms has 2 bunk beds which the kids loved), and then there are 2 washers and 2 dryers for everyone to use. There is 1 room that is accessible from the backyard which is nice but no bathroom, and then another very small room accessible from the backyard with a single bed and a bathroom that we ended up not using. The kitchen was fully equipped as well and there are 2 family rooms with TVs for everyone to enjoy. It was close to all the restaurants and show in La Jolla, very convenient to the airport, and an easy Uber/Lyft to the gas lamp. The home is 1.5 miles away from Windansea beach, one of La Jolla’s most popular and beautiful beaches. Drive, and arrive within a few minutes, or enjoy a leisurely 25-35 minute walk. How close is the home to the village in La Jolla? The village in La Jolla is about 1.5 - 2 miles away, a 5 minute drive or a 25-35 minute walk, depending on where you choose to go. For amazing coffee and pastries, check out il Giardino di Lili. Breakfast dining options include Parakeet cafe, The Cottage, Sugar & Scribe, and more. For dinner, our favorites are Duke’s La Jolla & Eddie V’s. Book ahead during sunset hour for the best dinner views! How long does it take to drive from San Diego International Airport? It should take about 20 minutes to drive to/from the airport. How close is the home to SeaWorld? SeaWorld is about 6.5 miles away, only an 18 minute drive. How close is the home to LegoLand? The house was even better than the photos and the location was perfect. About a 5 minute drive from the ocean and downtown La Jolla which had tons to do. Our host went above and beyond. Incredibly responsive and communicative from start to finish, making the entire trip stress free. We had a group of 15 and every single person slept comfortably in a bed. No shortage of things to do around the house. Pool, hot tub, ping pong, basketball hoop, games, TV, etc. Kitchen was huge. We cooked most of our meals family style and ate either around the big dining table or the tables outside. Truly a 10/10 stay. The property is gorgeous inside and out. We had plenty of room to spread out, using the three king suites (on the inside) plus the bunk room. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, table tennis, smart TV and outside grill. The lush foliage on the hill behind the house made us feel like we were vacationing in the tropics. The backyard is absolutely sprawling and perfect for hosting—plenty of room to spread out, relax, and entertain. The pool was stunning, and the hot tub was such a nice touch for winding down in the evenings.The hosts went above and beyond, letting us check in early and keeping in great communication throughout the entire process, which made everything seamless and stress-free.If you’re looking for a resort-style home with gorgeous outdoor space, this is the place. The house and all its expansive space outside was ideal for the group of 14+ guys escaping to SD for the weekend. Communication from management was quick and clear leading up to the event as well as during - they dropped off a new basketball after hearing the one at the house was deflated! The pool and tub were fantastic escapes from the hot days and cool nights. While in the hills of La Jolla, we felt the location was perfectly convenient for our golf and race track adventures. The place does have some natural wear and tear though nothing standout and overall it surpassed our expectations/what we needed. Would definitely stay there again if making the same trip! ##### TW B. My girlfriends and I needed a little getaway.. we were so fortunate this house was available for the weekend we had such an amazing stay. Shortly after we arrived, we were delivered a little welcome gift with wine, snacks, and a handwritten note! The house had everything we needed and more - from coffee and cooking essentials to maybe about 10 extra beds? LOL. The beds we used were so comfy… soft sheets, fluffy blankets and plenty of pillows. The house itself was just beautiful.. gorgeous stone flooring, exquisite décor, an abundance of sunlight, clean, etc. Some furniture has slight wear, but nothing unusual for a rental. But our favorite part of the house was the backyard where we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee each morning and the heated pool/spa in the evening (we really took advantage of the heated pool we were paying for it added much needed relaxation to our getaway!). The house is in a prime location nestled on Mount Soledad - we got a good workout in each day walking up to the cross where you can see all of San Diego. The house is about 5 min from the beach and a short drive to all the cute restaurants in La Jolla or Birdrock. We asked the host for restaurant suggestions and she responded promptly with her favorite options. We highly recommend Eddie V’s or Lupi. Thank you so much for our weekend getaway! It was just what we needed to relax, unwind and have girl time. We hope to be back soon!!! 5/5 house and 5/5 weekend. ##### Maisie V. For sure the house is beautiful and it has plenty of space for a large group. The pool, hot tub and very spacious backyard were excellent for entertainment. It was a little chillier, so opting to pay for pool heating was amazing. I asked that it be heated upon arrival so we were able to enjoy right after check in, and it was. The kitchen is very nice and the bedrooms are quite comfortable. This is a gorgeous home, but it is older and does have some wear. The host was easy to reach and very accommodating. Overall, it's a great place for a large group and I would likely rent it again. I would recommend it for large groups and would stay again for another girls trip. The house is beautiful, with several nice areas for large groups to hang out and relax. The kitchen is massive and well stocked for a rental. The house is really beautiful with higher end furniture throughout. It is in a perfect location, a few minutes from the beach, less than a 5 minute drive to the village of La Jolla, 20 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to sea world and 30 minutes to Lego Land. The road is somewhat of a larger road, but it was never busy. The backyard is a really amazing oasis. The pool was super clean (but could use a fresh coat of paint), and we went in the hot tub every day as it heats up in minutes and is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place for a large group, but there are a few things to know. It is listed as 6 bedrooms and while technically correct, two of the bedrooms are detached as the description says which is okay. One of the detached bedrooms is very small and tucked away, but does have its own full bathroom. However, with the bunk beds inside being full sized and the extra queen bed in the family room, it totally made up for it. You can sleep lots of people in this house comfortably! Host was exceptional. We would love to come back again soon. ##### Natalie G.
