Bel hôtel sur différents niveaux en pleine nature. Chambre avec une vue extraordinaire ! Très propre. Restaurant de l'hôtel très bon. Personnels très pro. Piscine extra chaude. Le spa est très beau et super massage au son de la rivière et des oiseaux.

endroit magnifique avec vue sur le volcan le personnel du restaurant et du petit dejeuner est au petits soins. restaurant excellent salle de sport agreable Seul hic: prélèvement sur ma carte bancaire de 150 USD 2 h apres mon check out sans mon autorisation,ma signature et sans facture pour un litige réglé a l l'amiable a notre depart avec la direction (leger accrochage avec leur barriere de sécurité) Tres fourbe de leur part et dangereux car ca aurait été 1500 USD c est pareille. Ils ne repondent pas aux mails depuis. Rien que pour ca a réfléchir

Ce qu'on a aimé : tout : la chambre avec sa vue sur le volcan, la salle de bain extérieur superbe, le jacuzzi sur le balcon, le petit déjeuner, la piscine. Seul bémol : trop peu de transat au bord de la piscine pour que tout le monde puisse en profiter.

Très bel hôtel mais le service restauration n'est pas a la hauteur des équipements hôteliers. Sauf les prix excessifs notamment pour le repas du 31 décembre où un buffet médiocre a été servi pour un prix exorbitant.

Super établissement avec 2 piscines dont une chauffée. Petit déjeuner excellente. Par contre un peu decus concernant le dîner. Personnel accueillants et tres gentils.

Hôtel situé dans la nature, beaux paysages. Personnel agréable. Belle chambre sauf qu'il y a des insectes qui peuvent entrer car les fenêtres et portent ne sont pas étanches. Bon restaurant mais un peu dispendieux. Tout s'est bien passé en général mais lors de notre départ, nous avons remarqué qu'il y avait moins d'essence dans notre voiture que la veille, quelqu'un en avait volé. Nous l'avons mentionné et on nous a offert de remplir une partie de notre auto. Nous avons trouvé qu'ils étaient plutôt bien équipés pour pallier au problème...un peu trop. Je ne crois pas que c'était leur première fois !

Stayed at this property in April for 3 nights. No complaints about the property other than the electricity going out for the morning of one of the days we were there in our building - seemed to be only our building after seeing air conditioners running on others. What we were not happy about is the fact that when we booked, we booked one room with four people, before arriving. We then decided to book a second room before arriving, and added one person, for a total of five people. We tried to move one of the four people from room one to the second room because it reduces the extra person fee of $40.00 per night, and bc the cost of the second room included two people even though the reservation had only one adult. At check in we were assured this was fine, and the hotel would take care of it, and the forms were executed with 3 people in one room and two in another. At check out the hotel charged us the $120 and had since refused to refund the money.

The balcony overlooking the rainforest and volcano was wonderful. The trail around the grounds and the restaurant were also great. We also enjoyed the pool bar. The staff were friendly and personable. The lighting in the room was a bit off, but everything else was incredible.

I think this is my favorite place I have stayed in my life. Nothing beats waking up to the volcano view hearing and seeing all the animals around. The decor was perfection I did not want to leave. Food in restaurant was great and spa was outstanding. Cute gift shop, friendly staff. Trails around the property. You will not believe your eyes how peaceful and beautiful this area is.

I have wanted to stay here for years. When the opportunity presented for a short stay I booked. In the 100 block of rooms the road noise, even on a Sunday, woke us up. Parking is NOT at your room and you walk to reception and have to ask them to get your vehicle. Amenities of the hot spring and spa are a shuttle ride and walk away from the property. At the hot spring, the hotel guests only portion at the top was only open till 7:30/8pm, while the facility was open till 10pm. Left us having to walk all the way back down to get a simple water. No real benefit of being a hotel guest over a day pass. Would not book again. Will stay at another property. Aurtero at the bell/valet station was amazing with service and a smile!

An excellent place to stay if you just want a quiet me time in the wilderness- a jungle retreat in a way. For centre and city - you need proper transportation. Uber was our saviour. Other Taxis and shuttles are very pricey.

Great clean property. Not walkable, you have to have a car. Nice staff, close to Mistico. Weak drinks and get dinner elsewhere, the restaurant on site is very hit and miss. Room was very nice. We had an outdoor shower and bathtub. Great view of Arenal. Would stay again.

First time in La Fortuna. Loved the pictures of the property advertising the Lost Iguana especially the view from the balcony. Our room did not disappoint. The restaurant and the spa were great. Hiking trail on the property was fun. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We spent 2 nights in Lost Iguana. We had a good time, but we didn't spend too much time in the resort. We did many excursions in which they helped us book. The reception was very nice and accommodating. In the middle of our first night our electricity went out. But besides that, the view and the accommodation was beautiful. Be sure to bring bug repellent. Bonus: delicious coffee!

I found the property wonderful all staff were well trained polite and easy going. The sounds were fantastic and as if we were staying in the jungle, only with room service and a spa. Perfect in every way.

The resort has beautiful grounds. Room was average well at least ours. We had a standard room which was very dark. Room could use more lighting than the 1 tiny light lamp and dim ceiling fan light. Also could be better to help block the gaps under the doors to prevent the number of bugs that get into the room. The staff was nice and the breakfast buffet was good. Nice walking trails. You need a car as this place is not walkable.
