Enjoy stunning views of the bay and Hope Island at this exceptional west-facing retreat. Custom-designed, this gorgeous home showcases an entire wall of windows that face the water, creating an effortless indoor/outdoor flow.

Step outside to take in the extraordinary vistas. Dine alfresco at the charming picnic table, play a round of cornhole, stretch out in the hammock, and gather around the firepit on crisp coastal nights.

A viewpoint deck offers the perfect perch with two high-top stools, and a descending staircase leads down to approximately 100 feet of private waterfront. Fish, go crabbing, and search for shellfish. Or kayak and paddleboard out to Hope Island State Park. For adventures on land, bike out to Anacortes and Skagit Valley farm country.

Inside your ocean-view getaway, a wood stove provides a cozy vibe. Find everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen. There’s even a lofted office nook that boasts spectacular bay views.

The dishwasher needed service. (We ran things through twice and still they came out dirty, so I had to wash them by hand.) Also, the Internet connection was very spotty. (It only started working the last half day of our trip.) There was a Blu-ray, but no movies. The smoke alarms were chirping and there wasn't a step stool to reach them. The bed and bath linens were old and rough. I expected better. The view was beautiful and the setting was otherwise lovely.

the place was great, and I would stay there again. It had a few minor issues. the right side of the refrigerator door has no suction, so it didn't keep everything as cold as we would have liked. toilet paper holders were falling off the wall. the carpet was pretty stained. But the place itself was roomy, and we made it cozy by building a fire. (Best feature for me) Except for the carpet these are minor issue and wouldn't deter me from going back.

Gorgeous and open living room/dining room/kitchen area with plenty of space. The back yard and stairs to the beach were a very welcome feature. The open shower attached to the main bedroom on the ground floor was a really nice touch!

Christmas Trip

The location of this property was perfect and the views are gorgeous. The house itself was very underwhelming. It needs some major TLC. Stains on the carpet, burn marks on the furniture, scratchy bedding, lights out, etc. we stayed over Christmas and were a little surprised at the lack of warmth. We know that extra touches aren’t required but this was the first place we’ve stayed at that did nothing. Not one touch for Christmas, not even a light on when we came in the pitch black. They have a huge table but it says no more than 4 people allowed. The table has shells running down it making it hard to play games. Just overall the place did not feel homey.

Great for Quiet Retreat

This is a quiet area in a private neighborhood. It was perfect for a low-key girls' weekend getaway. We appreciated the fireplace, huge views and thoughtfully stocked kitchen. Don’t Stay Here

This place was filthy. Dirty dishes in the cabinets, dirty carpet, smelled of fish, oven and vent was nasty filthy! There has been a total lack of cleaning and maintenance. Smoke alarm was missing, shower head was held together with zip ties. No bulb in the heat lamp in the master bath. Master bath shower would not drain, facet completely loose and much more. VACASA charged $125.00 (a VRBO payment) without my approval. I booked via VRBO but ended up having to deal with VACASA. Never again! This was a terrible stay because of a total lack of minimal property management! I have a number of pictures but I’m sure VACASA nor VRBO cares! You should cut ties with VACASA before Customers cut ties with VRBO! This property was totally misrepresented by VRBO and VACASA!

Sister trip

My sisters and I live in different parts of the country. We were looking for a beautiful place to gather with enough room for all of us. This was the perfect spot. The views were stunning. The house is gorgeous and had a private room for each of us. An important issue was access. The main floor bedroom and bathroom were perfect for those who can no longer climb stairs. Check in and checkout were easy. We had a lovely time relaxing together.

Community water is a well system which was having periodic problems. We had no water 2 of 3 day stay. Also carpet dirty, no extra TP or paper towel rolls, or garbage bags. We ended up leaving a day early.

Great spot to stay

We stayed here in the spring during the Tulip festival. It was a very comfortable home and I really enjoyed the outdoor space as well. Pretty spacious and looked exactly like the pictures!
