Take in the view of the forest through the surrounding floor to ceiling windows. Relax and unwind in our private outdoor barrel sauna. Natural self-care products, firewood, laundry soap, and high-speed Wi-Fi are all complimentary. We hope you'll love our little cabin of windows as much as we do :) Our thoughtfully curated cabin consists of two bedrooms, that can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests. Each bedroom boasts premium linens, luxurious down duvets, feather bed toppers, smart-tv's, and bedside device chargers. The bathroom features a large shower, soft towels, and 100% natural, Canadian-made, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A hairdryer, washer, dryer are also available for your convenience. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware you need to prepare a delicious meal for your family, or a romantic dinner for two. Wake up with a coffee from the Keurig and the complimentary Tim Horton's pods or whip up a healthy smoothie with the help of the Ninja blender. Curl up by the wood stove in the living room in your choice of comfortable seating. Wood for the fire is provided along with helpful fire-starters. The living room also features a smart tv in case you want to enjoy a movie night. On the wrap-around deck, the glass railings will allow you unobtrusive views. You'll find an Weber electric BBQ, and Adirondack chairs to soak up the sun or stargaze late into the night. On those chilly summer or autumn nights, head down to the firepit to warm up and maybe even enjoy a marshmallow or two. La Khabine is located in La Conception, a short 15 minute drive to the village of Mont Tremblant. It is best accessible by car and you will have your own private driveway. For those with electric vehicles, La Khabine is equipped with a complimentary Tesla charger. CHILDREN AND INFANTS Children and infants are allowed at La Khabine, but please note that the home is not child-proof. The wood stove, and baseboards heaters can be very hot to the touch. The home is surrounded by trees and sits on top of a high cliff. Therefore, the property is not a suitable play area and children should be supervised at all times. PETS La Khabine loves pets! Please help us stay a pet-friendly place to visit by following these simple rules: 1\. There is a maximum of 1 pet allowed, for a charge of $50 per stay. Additional pets may be added on a case-by-case basis at an additional $50 per pet, per stay. 2\. You are financially responsible for any damage incurred by your pet. 3\. All pets must be crated/caged if left unattended. 4\. Please do not allow pets on the furniture. 5\. Pick up and dispose of all pet waste. 6\. Accidents happen and if one does in the house, please notify us immediately. 7\. The deck is an enclosed area that your pet can enjoy, outside of the deck, please leash your pet for their safety. 8\. We came here two years ago and loved our stay, so it was our first choice when looking for another relaxing winter getaway. Everything was as good as we remembered and continues to be the nicest rental property we've ever stayed in. The furniture, linens, cookware, and other amenities are good quality and have held up well since our last visit. It's this thoughtfulness and attention to detail that makes all the difference and sets La Khabine apart. It doesn't just look nice in photos, it's actually comfortable, well-maintained, and everything just works. It was lovely to start the day with a cup of coffee and do some yoga while the early morning sunlight filled the living room, and then spend the afternoon cozied up with a book by the woodstove. Chris and Kristine are great hosts and check-in or other communication was easy. There was a fairly heavy snowfall during our stay and the snow removal services were always prompt in clearing the deck, walkway, and driveway. First of all, the owners are a dream to work with - responsive, caring and kind. La Khabine was exactly as described and gave ample opportunity to relax and unwind. The home is just the right size, and the deck is super. The fit and finishes are first rate, and in most instances, luxurious. The natural surroundings are a gift - I spent several mornings stretching on the deck with birds chirping in the background and a babbling brook below - "zen". Having a truly fully stocked kitchen was a benefit. They even think of the little things like spices, reusable bags, tinfoil, etc. The little extras, like a welcome note and starter package, made us feel special. The arrival website is well done and was helpful before and during our stay. The cabin and the property are as nice as they are in the photos. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and Kristine and Chris even had a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolate waiting in the kitchen on our arrival. The welcome guide provided was very comprehensive and answered any questions we had on where things were located or how they worked. The bed and other furniture were very comfortable, probably the best of any rental we've ever stayed in. We enjoyed using the sauna, and it was lovely to sit and read by the wood stove. Our wiener dog loved the floor to ceiling windows and being able to see the squirrels and birds outside, as well as lounging in his bed in the sunshine. It was a great stay and we'd love to come back, perhaps in the fall to enjoy the autumn colors and make more use of the large deck. ##### Sarah B. Incredible price for such a beautiful home. The property is exactly as pictured. We used the wood stove and the sauna easily for cozy nights after days of skiing. The views from the windows were gorgeous. This is the perfect location for skiing, 15 minutes from Mont Tremblant. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed for a relaxing week in the mountains. Super easy check-in/checkout process, with clear communication from host. Great for 4 people. Bonus was the eco friendly, green appliances and sustainable construction of the house. ##### Kathleen H. Séjour de 7 nuits en décembre 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Lena H. 2 oct. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### A beautiful and luxurious getaway in the woods We booked La Khabine for an autumn girls' trip and the moment we walked in, my friends and I couldn't stop saying WOW! The living area with the 3 walls of windows took our breaths away with the beautiful light streaking in and the colorful leaves dancing in the wind. La Khabine far exceeded our expectations: we had everything that we needed and more, the check-in process was seamless, the cabin was so clean and comfortable. We felt our city stresses melt down completely and that's exactly what we hoped! Our host Kristine was so hospitable and kind. She replied to our questions quickly and checked up on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We were also provided with complimentary wine, chocolate and scented candles which was a very sweet touch. I'm already looking forward to coming back! ##### Lena H. Really beautiful house with a common area looking out on the forest - feels like forest bathing. The kitchen has everything and more than you can hope for. The products and welcome gift make you feel nurtured. Everything is comfortable - the sofas, beds and deck chairs. The only thing I’d change, but this is personal preference, is having thinner pillows and some coat hooks in the entrance. The hosts were very communicative and fixed a small issue we had promptly. Note that the property itself has some small drops so kids need supervision. It’s house has everything you need and more. Fully stocked kitchen (we cook a lot), two comfortable beds, a sauna and the open concept kitchen living space overlooking the trees….! Wow. I would’ve just been happy staying at the house but it’s 15 min from tremblant and we skied, hiked and xc skied! It was so conveniently located. Exactly as pictured and our host Kristine and Chris were exceptional. They touched base initially and half way through and were so accessible. I can’t say enough and we use VRBO a lot.
