Our Deluxe King Room was a beautiful blend of tradition and comfort, with tatami floors, a spacious onsen-style bath, and lovely skincare. The staff were absolutely wonderful: warm, friendly, and so helpful. Great location for a couple of nights, as it is close to the Kyoto National Museum and Sanjusangendo temple. The staff were welcoming, kind and wanted to ensure we had a great a great stay. Breakfast was exceptional! We had the most incredible and delicious traditional breakfasts. A highlight of our stay! While I loved our room and the incredible bathtub it offered, the one negative for me was a musty odor in the room (I am sensitive to smell).
