It was a comfortable size and the shower was great. The location is not great if you want to use the train but we used taxis so it was fine. There is a 7-11 down the street and some local restaurants that are close by that were very good. Also several coffee shops. A Buddhist temple was right across the street. The bathroom was japanese, with a bidet toilet, separate sink, mirror, washer, and a bath-room/shower-room that had its own heating/cooling/ventilation. Our apartment was nice and had all the facilities advertised. In the middle of a longer trip it was especially pleasing to have a washing machine, and the drying facility in the bathroom. On the downside, with three beds, there's very little space to open suitcases. We were very grateful for their luggage delivery service because we arrived early in Kyoto before check in time. The staff were very pleasant to engage with.
