The hosts invited us to try Japanese calligraphy with them after breakfast and they gave us many suggestions for activities in the neighborhood, like an epic flea market on temple grounds not far from the Ryokan. They adapted the breakfast to my vegetarian diet and it was really tasty. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean.
