Beautiful accommodation and it was so cool to get to stay in one of these traditional machiya. The bath especially was so nice and kept us going after long days of lots of walking. Location was very convenient being right by Shichijo station and several bus stops, with a convenience store right down the street. There was a mixup with our luggage (arrived a day early) and the check-in staff handled it for us even though it's not really supposed to be part of the services they provide. They also had a fantastic info packet for us when we checked in with things to do in the area, recommended restaurants, advice on local transportation and shipping your luggage, as well as a voucher that covers the distancd for a taxi ride from the check-in location to the machiya. This info packet helped us out multiple times and was extremely well put together.
