As my husband and I are not familiar with Kiev and cannot speak or read Ukrainian or Russian, we expected to struggle a bit during our visit. However, this property is located just blocks from many wonderful sites and restaurants. Although sparsely stocked, the property is spacious, clean and warm, despite the freezing temperatures outside. The elevator worked, but was rarely used, as the apartment is in the second floor. It was wonderful to have a shower large enough, as most European showers are extremely small; and the hot water heater allowed for fifteen minutes.
