L’île est très belle avec de nombreux palmiers et une plage sauvage. Peu de monde fin décembre, possibilité de faire du snorkeling. Attention prévoir des chaussures pour rentrer dans l’eau (sinon ça fait mal). L’hôtel est plutôt une mauvaise surprise dans ce cadre paradisiaque. La chambre a un confort minimaliste, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivée (plusieurs heures pour la réparation...ils ne voulaient pas qu’on change simplement de chambre). Mauvaise insonorisation. Une seule serviette pour 3 a été laissée lors du ménage. Personnel plutôt agréable mais fatigué et peu informatif sur les activités. L’hôtel est une machine à fric dans laquelle absolument tout est facturé, l’eau est en quantité limitée, les activités extrement cheres (comptez 123 dollars par personne pour aller voir les tortues ou une île voisine). Parfois les activités sont annulées au dernier moment sans prévenir si mauvaise météo ou pas assez de participants. Nous n’avons pu faire aucune activité finalement (soit trop chère soit annulée soit organisation trop changeante pour pouvoir planifier quoi que ce soit). Le buffet est plutôt bon mais quasiment les mêmes plats sont servis tous les jours. On nous a dit lorsqu’on déjeune le jour d’arrivée on ne peut peut plus déjeuner le jour du départ (hors notre transfert est prévu à 18h) et nous ont demandé 43 euros par personne pour le buffet si on voulait tout de même y aller.

Le personnel était vraiment au top, très gentil très agréable , mais nous avons été déçu de la chambre et son état/propreté. En effet elle était très petite et mal équipée : sèche cheveux de poche qui ne sèche pas , frigo qui ne refroidit pas , douche qui ne fournit pas beaucoup d’eau chaude ... un séjour de 15j qui se faisait long sur la fin à cause des draps qui grattent... le ménage était mal fait ( en arrivant le rideau de douche était sale ... ce qui ne donne pas envie de se laver a l’interieur. Et le ménage était fait seulement au balais, pas d’aspi pas de serpiere... c’est très léger pour un ménage ...

Hotel accueillant
Hotel proche de l’aéroport, très jolie île mais avec un lagon assez petit compare aux autres îles. D’où sa proximité de l’aéroport vue sur des îles avec immeubles au loin. Les chambres sont neuves avec le confort, le personnel a l’écoute surtout au restaurant, de nombreuses activées sont proposées, nous avons passe le jour de l an avec un super buffet et animation. Tres bon séjour avec quelques petits points négatifs selon nos attentes. En premier pour les excursions nous avions prévu d'en faire 1 ou 2 par jour mais la pb un jour le temps n est pas bon un jour il n'y a pas le matériel , il faut min 6 participants par sortie... Le temps dans cette partie des Maldives est souvent venteux et nuageux mais pas de pluie heureusement.

Les Maldives a un prix raisonnable
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable sur cette petite ile. L'accès depuis l'aéroport de Malé est très rapide, l'accueil est sympathique et les installations sont de bonne qualité. Bien sûr, les fonds marins sont superbes et vous aurez surement la chance de voir le petit requin dans le récif de corail. S'il fallait améliorer quelque chose, ce serait la carte du restaurant de plage, qui est un peu limité. Allez-y, c'est super et sans superflu.

The resort is 8 km by sea from Malè, 15 minutes by speedboat. In fact, standing on the beach and looking to the left from the island you can see Malè with its port, merchant ships and its skyline of skyscrapers, it is not a pretty sight and it is not such a remote atoll as it seems from the photos. There are motorboats at sea going to and from Malè to the other atolls, and planes heading for the other islands continually pass overhead. However, it is comfortable, the food is good, and the resort is clean even if a little old and the staff is friendly. On the island there are Carletto (little Charles), Giulietto (little Julius) and Franchino (little Frank), three roosters who crow day and night and night and day. It's like being in a chicken coop. the Resort is a 3 star not 4.

L'isola è molto piccola e la barriera corallina è veramente poca, per non dire che quasi non c'è, a parte qualcosa davanti alla spiaggia principale davanti al bar, dove si trovano gli ombrelloni. La spiaggia è molto grande e bella ma c'è solo in quella zona, non è possibile infatti fare il giro esterno dell'isola perché il mare di lato e dietro ha portato via la spiaggia del tutto. Avevamo la camera garden room n.240 si trovava a 2 minuti poco più dalla spiaggia e dal ristorante, camera carina e abbastanza spaziosa, bagno con doccia grandissima e comoda, soggiorno in pensione completa, tra l'altro preso ad un ottimo prezzo. Menzione merita la cucina, si mangia veramente bene e a sorpresa l'acqua naturale e gassata che fanno loro è gratuita, di solito solo di acqua si spendeva molto in altre isole visitate. Il nostro room boy lasciava molto a desiderare si limitava veramente a tirare solo su' le lenzuola del letto, a differenza di altre isole qui, almeno nella nostra stanza, la pulizia è stata molto molto scarsa. Pesci ci sono ma non tanti come in altre isole, nessuna tartarughe avvistata invece diverse squaletti. La mattina prima delle 7 e 30, va preso il posto in spiaggia o altrimenti si trova tutto occupato dai teli degli altri ospiti. Concludendo mi è piaciuta, non ha una laguna grande e per fortuna non ci sono quegli orrendi water bungalow a deturparla. L'isola tutto sommato merita, era la decima volta alle maldive e ho apprezzato il transfert di solo 10 minuti.

We stayed two weeks in Malahini Kuda Bandos in a Garden Room. The room was nice. The cleaning was ok also, but sometimes we had to ask from the reception for towels etc and the cleaning times were unpredictable. The island is small and closeness to Male is both a good thing (transfer times) and a bad thing (lots of trafic and the view to Hulhumale was not great). The sand on the island has shifted almost totally to the other side of the island where the main beach is located, so some of the pictures I had seen before weren't accurate anymore, but we actually enjoyed the small area near Bar75 more than the big beach. Also the bar was much better than the big bar on the main beach, where the drinks weren't good and service wasn't great either. But in Bar75 Harsha made great drinks and was very nice and provided excellent service. Food in main restaurant was great and the guys working behind the "Live food" counter were always nice and smiling, so were the waiters. We had half board and the drinks, especially a bottle of wine, was really expensive and I felt that the island was more expensive to for example Sun Island Villa Resort, where I've been many times. For the room we got a good deal from Expedia. The weather wasn't great and it was very cloudy and windy almost all the time, so we didn't do any excursions and did very little snorkeling.

We’ve found the front desk customer service was very poor as our booking was included free transfers from Male but not with Expedia Booking according to them even though it’s in our bookings. That’s already ruined our start of the vacation. Then on check out they wanted to charge the Pringle chip which we didn’t even have them. I believe one of their stuff ate them cuz the house keeping guy asked us to leaving our room door open for cleaning, so anyone can go into our room. However the Malaga team did a good job from kitchen to the servers, Anil, Eni, Amaya, anesa,Salina, Supun & Juman. The buffet food was very well prepared & taste so good unless most of other buffet food either being too salty or too sweet. Not sure why it was being advertised newly renovated cuz one night I needed to carry an umbrella going to the bathroom. I almost fell down due to the floor was very slippery. Finally we got to moved to another room. We’ve tried not to have this negativity to affect the rest of our experience in Maldives. We are island hopping for 3 weeks. This is our first island. The beach was too rocky & stepping into water the smell of sewage to make unbearable to stay too long. The video with white sand blue water are not quite true though. We were very disappointed! I will give Malahini 0 star without Malaga Team.

Nice resort, big, clean and very comfy rooms. Beach chairs are quite hard, it would be good if they had some cushions. Very convenient to travel from/to Male airport. Buffet food is nice but a bit bland, not much fish or local food. Very good vegetarian options. Beach is ok, water can get a bit murky at times and there are lots of rocks so beach shoes are recommended.

Nice resort with good opportunities for snorkling and diving. There are many fish and reef sharks. Also opportunities for other watersports like supping, and waterscooters. All-inclusive offers reasonable opportunities for food and drinks. Very friend staff.

We went as a couple for a couple of days based on the Hotels.com listing that the Hotel had pool and bath tubs for all visitors. Upon arriving, we were informed that there were no public pools or bath tubs and if we wanted one, we have to pay another $250 per night to upgrade the rooms to villa with a pool. Since it is an island you cannot even turn around despite the misleading information on the Hotels.com website.We would have definitely chosen another property had we known that there were no public pools. Having said that, the kitchen chefs were excellent and made special effort to prepare vegetarian meals for us.

The staff were fabulous and work so very, very hard. They do everything with a smile. The island is beautiful and close to Male so short transfer. Something to be mindful off when booking an island in the Maldives, if you don't want a long transfer after a long flight. I have no complaints

Poor service - far from a 5star hotel
The hotel is not a 5 star, except if you are not used to great hotels worldwide. The team lacks training and although most of the employees smile a lot, they have no idea how to speak to customers and have terrible English speaking skills. Several items are similar to a 1 star hotel like used towels being worse than floor cleaning tissues. When changing rooms because of terrible bathroom smell, the porter took one bag and left the room without helping with the other 3 luggages. With no explanation, taxes summed the same amount of the daily rate for the room. Pizza at the only restaurant where you eat A La Carte was like a toast so hard, and when checking out early and leaving the resort late, If you need to take a shower at the changing room for this purpose, you will have to take a cold shower. But the island is beautiful, small, like in a movie. But lacks training and is far from a good service although the receptionists and manager smiles and understand the bad comments.

Snorkeling is the best activity, we saw blacktip reef sharks, turtle & many fishes. wave & current is strong. hotel rooms are a bit old but well maintained. 15 min walk can complete a round island. we enjoyed our holiday a lot, it been long await holiday within 2 years covid decade. All inclusive package cost USD 500 per night during 27 to 31 Dec, all good except Beach bar available only beer, no other alcohol beverage. PCR test USD 115, speed boat transfer USD 85. Nature island parrots, birds, bats, beautiful clear water, ocean, white sand, sea, lovely holiday.

The services at Malahini Kuda Bandos was very poor to say the least. There was never enough bath towels in the rooms and you have to continue to call hotel reception for towel change. They rationed water in this island, you have to pay for water once you use up 2 bottles of water in a day. The only thing we liked was the island had a lot of water sports activities so that was nice to see.
